Wow
Talk about a powerful chapter! I want to reread this later and will comment in more detail later. Just too much to absorb all at once! Good stuff once again Krunch!

Oh, wow!
What will Christina do for love? Now we know. I personally think she did the right thing. But there are still problems down the road.
Great Chapter!!!

Marvelous chapter to this story. It is starting to put everything into perspective for Christina. She is a young woman now even if she did not realize it before. Chris, the boy, is gone and Christina, the young woman is finally there permanently. Can't wait for the next chapter to see how it turns out. Janice Lynn Miller
Yep, still the number 1 story...
Yep, this is still the number 1 story. Others stories are great, but this one has something special.

I have enjoyed this story very much. As someone who has spent an extended time away from home recently the longing for home in this story is something that is very meaningful for me.
Great Chapter
However I thought Christina is a bit old for corporeal punishment
especially for language.
It did get the job done.
Her former life has been razed to the ground.
Christina is starting over and most scary of all, she
has no identity.
I suspect the rest of this fantastic series will be
the phoenix arising from the ashes. I suspect Richard
will be her indispensable helper in reestablishing
an identity - in many ways :-). Where is Norm Abrahms
when you need him the most ;-).
In some ways I wish the good author was more of a Sci-Fi
fan and had titled this or maybe the next chapter -
'After Worlds Collide' from the the classic 1930s
Sci-Fi novel.
Oh Well.
The only bad thing about this series - it's another week
before the next chapter.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo !

Strrrriiike!!
And another impressive one from the admirable Admiral. (sorry, I couldn't resist)
The spanking was surprising. To Christina, but to me too, I'd never have thought uncle Alek would resort to such means, I imagined Christina to old for that. I found it a little out of character for the story on one hand because it was never really violent, on the other hand it fits uncle Alek and, to some extent it personifies male authority here which serves to reinforce feminine and wilting behavior from Christina. -Not saying these two traits are interlinked, quite the contrary actually. But I digress- So one could wonder whether this spanking has blown more than the fight to stay in the apartment?
When she's finally in Oak Grove and in her room she is pondering about her being Christina all the time in the past month, in spite of the illusion to be able to be Chris -the boy- again. It's like she is realizing that that time only was an attempt to restore her once male life, but doomed to fail. She may seem to acknowledge the ease and fulfillment of living as, or more even actually being Christina, still I haven't read that she prefers Christina above Chris. The Admiral nicely outlined all the benefits for Christina, while Chris only seems to have a bleak grim future ahead.
I wonder how many of the readers here could understand Chris having to choose for NOT being Christina, but return to living as Chris. Jeopardizing all love and warmth of his adoptive family. Thrown back at the fringes of life. I guess we all could understand I think, but put like that, it still makes you wonder. Oh hell, I sure would have a hard time understanding if Chris would fess up to the family and decided to -have to- live his life as a boy. The Levchenko family could easily turn out to accept Chris, eventually, as they have done Christina initially.
Fessing up, by the way, has to be done at some time no matter what course Chris/Christina will feel to have to take.
The real cruncher ( innocent pun ) here is still whether Chris, he himself, has to be Chris, or does she have to be Christina, by his/her own account?
And I really, really like to read along with you all, Christina will find happiness and love, cause that's just who I'm identifying with. This story is heartaching, captivating and tearjerking, and I wait impatiently every whole week for my next fix.
Thank you for sharing Admiral,
Jo-Anne
ps. spanking can be rather ummm... erotical, as you all know I guess *blush*
Strrrriiike!!
Jo-Anne,
Seems to me that you missed the real meaning here "No one had forced her. No one had twisted her arm. The truth was, Christina preferred this life to her old one." At least I feel that she means that she prefers her life as a girl.

Difference of opinion
It's just how you perceive the preference of this life to her old one. To me this doesn't intrinsically imply living as a girl for Chris/Christina. I think you can have a perfectly fulfilling life with loving compassionate relatives as a male. :) So could Chris. I also would like to refer to the giant feedback loop which serves as an expression of doubt over the legitimacy of feeling right about life as Christina.
So, I beg to differ. But that's just me, I always seem to differ.
Jo-Anne
The Subject of Chris
...has been written within the story, that for Chris, being male got him nowhere, being male he was a loner, being male he had no future. Krunch wrote it that way. Now in fact it did not have to be that way, but it was written that way as a means of closure for Chris so there would be no doubts left once Christina came to stay. Krunch stripped Chris's 'masculinity want' away bit by bit, step by step, to show how much better things are as Christina. Its very easy for Chris to make the choice then. The hard part is for us to accept that choice and allow Chris to be Christina. This is, after all, the Admiral's story.
It would be nice to have some effeminate men that decided to stay as men, instead of thinking going female is the only way to exist. But, in this place here, where some of us dream to go to female, that would be rare indeed.

I'm a little bit odd.
In my case, the spanking wasn't erotic but I felt my self glow with satisfaction in that finally there was someone in her life who actually cared about her and was willing to make it stick.
Now, here she is sick to her stomach, and I think that in another chapter, we found out that her willy was miniscule. She's what just turned 20 or 21?
While I have not been able to find medical reference for starting one's period as late as that, I am also not a Doc.
Anyhow, this is a really fun story, and I just want her to get to the place that she can jump Richard's bones.

Alek
I don't know why everyone is so surprised by the spanking. Its obvious that Alek is old fashioned. And Christina was acting like an insolent child. And Alek has rules about bad language. She stepped over the line. If it also ended the argument and got Christina out of there faster, well two birds with one stone.
I can't wait for next week.
Thoughts
Uncle Alek is probably not as unfeeling as he is made out to be. He had an objective, namely Christina's ultimate wellbeing. To achieve that he had to take out what fight there was left in her. He could see that she was going downhill fast and he needed to get her home.
And the stomach pain? I've got an idea, let's see if I'm right.
Still in my top story list. Thanks AK.

Hum?
A powerful chapter.
Alex did Chris/Christina a favor by spanking him/her? He/she needed a shock to get her out of this downward spiral but in the hands of someone other than Alex that wouls be assault. Hs is not her parent, she is 18 or older. She could have brought charges. But then Alex is so old school it's scarry and charming all at once. The most powerful force in his life is inertia. He does what he does becasue it's always been that way. He's like a huge ship that once it gets going is near impossible to turn or stop except by extraordinary effort.
But then Chris in way is like a ship with no one at the wheel.
As to the pains, did the poor diet, cold, stress combined with being forced over Alex's lap rupture his/her appendix? It is pnemonia setting in? Is it just all the stress and crying or is SHE having an internal period. I agree something is odd physicall abody Cris, his build, how the corest shapped him female so easily and so on. Is it just he was one of those unfortunate guys on the small/late develping end of the bell curve of male sexual charcterists or is SHE intersexed and physically even genetically female, she simply was also male or looked that way. Though the ex girfriend Ann(?) suggests *it* worked.
I hope for the Disney ending but Crunch will serve up something tasty. Thought that would be wonderful; she becomes a woman, gets pregant with Richard's child and they visit her asstounded mom and step dad to lell them you will "never see your grandchildren for what you did to me. And for trying to beat me into being a man, if there was a way to have you charges with a crime I would."
But then she, as was he, is too nice, though Richard or especally Alex would have few qualms. "You beat your daughter?" Whack! "But I didn't know. I thought she was a boy." Whack! "What blind and a child abuser?"
I am getting too vicious. Great stuff Chrunchy.

Terrific chapter
It's just too easy to put yourself in there, even if it's a long way from your own reality. The whole spanking and taking charge thing would get a very different raection from me, even knowing it was well meant. But then I'm not in it and these... people, I almost said characters, but they're people with individual personalities, are. How Alek and Christina respond there is in keeping with who they are. And Christina is I think ill because she is now backed into a corner and knows, even if subconsciously, that Chris is lost. All ties to him, except the physical, are broken. Now for some healing and soul searching, with perhaps a bit of fessing up along the way. More troubles ahead... but...
Great stuff Admiral
Kristina
I wondering what Andrei is
I wondering what Andrei is thinking right now, with the way Christina was so adamant that he shouldn’t look in the bags, and his own natural curiosity to find out what it is that Tina is hiding, I’d be surprise if he didn’t take a peek. He naturally would think that his cousin had a boyfriend.
Of course, Christina’s being ill in the morning, and her being so adamant that she must stay in the city, may just lead Andrei being more concerned that his cousin might be pregnant.
This would certainly make Tina’s life more interesting now she is back in Oak Grove!
Being Christina Chase?
Everyone seems to have a different take on Chris' desire to be Christina. Does he really want to be a woman? Is it just that he likes having a family and being loved? What's going on here?
My answer is Chris doesn't know yet. He was willing to be a girl because of the percs that came with it. Now that he has no choice, however, he's sitting in bed wondering what he is. That wasn't a problem before. Now, he tells himself that maybe he was always Christina in his subconscious. Maybe. Maybe not.
We've been given a lot of evidence this week, but much of it is inconclusive or contradictory. I think that reflects Chris/Christina right now. The poor kid doesn't know what's going on in his head or in his body. However, all that stomach pain must signify something; could it be his first period?
As far as Uncle Alex goes, springing from fairly recent immigrants, he is probably not as judgmental about corporal punishment as many middle class Americans are today. We see this old-world working-class attitude in the way he treated Anastasia and, more recently, Christina. Personally, I remember being spanked by my German grandmother with things that were certainly harder than Uncle Alex's hand. At Christina's age though, this is a little surprising, but still not out of character for Alex.
Admiral,
If you keep up the quality of the story through the end of all fifty-two chapters, the Lords of the Admiralty should promote you to Fleet Admiral. I would.
I'm just a little bit naughty ! :)
Oh, the spanking is where I finally decided he really cared. From there on out it would have been yes sir for me. When the spanking went down, I was giggling, wiggling and smiling. I even hugged myself shamelessly.
If I ever get a husband or even a BF, he will have to be a little bit that way just to make me behave. I just remembered, Oh my gosh, I did used to antagonize my mom until she spanked me just to get some attention.
Abnormal psychology? So what. I just figured that out.
Gwenellen
Me too
I'm with you on this Gwen.
She's been kidnapped by benign creatures from another culture, spanked into submission and now has to make a life for herself where her best offer is to be a Chase(d) French Maid for Mister Masters.
I never expected such kinky options, and I'm guessing the Admiral is merely tittilating us naughty ones and will now proceed to leave us dangling without being sated.
But we can hope.

a hard ride
WOW what a ride this time and my chest hurts you are a bad Captain /admiral/Mistress, but a wonderful writer who has set the hook in me very deep . now this junkie wants more stories to fill that empty feeling . now when are you going to make Christina work for that Dr.'s group ?? so she has a good job ??with health insurance ( for her SRS) and with the Dr's groups help to make a true, whole ,full, woman of her. Also what of that nice helpful young man Richard ?? who Christina claims she does not like ?? (like him no !! falling in love with him ? yes ) young love is so sweet and painful LOL
I love ya
christi
This chapter was extremly
This chapter was extremly strong in emotions.
Another name for your story might be 'Tales about love'
You are a gifted storyteller.
Compassion honor and empathy will always touch my heart.
Keep writing
:)
Cheers
Yoron.
I should invest in the Kleenex company after readding this
Maybe, just a little Tina is starting to accept who she is!!!!!
It is a very hard thing to do, I know I went through it!! But
you know once you do it is like a light goes off and you say
what took me so long to know the truth!! Part of Tina's problem
is she did not think highly of herself! I mean her mom and stepdad
put her down. Then at her job no matter how much she did she was still
not given the respect she deserved. Then her apartment was a total
shambles and was in a bad area. So the only way she could hold her
head up was when she was Christina Chase!! Maybe now that she has
been at the bottom there is no other way but up!!
Damn fine writing!
This is, so far, a thouroghly enjoyable story. Has me laughing and crying and perched on the edge of my seat. Something about Richard. He must not be that good of a lawyer if his curiosity has not led him to uncover the truth about chris. There is plenty of incentive and leads that he could follow to uncover chris's secret.
What Chris wants...
...Chris's actions show him to be a highly moral person. He most definately wants the family but his guilt at his deception has him running away from all the things he wants.
More than Powerful
I always say that I judge a story on three things.
Yes to all three. This chapter made me cry.
waif
Be kind to those who are unkind, tolerant toward those who treat you with intolerance, loving to those who withhold their love, and always smile through the pains of life.
A visit
If the stomach pains don’t subside, she’s going to need to pay a visit to Dr. Stone. And I’m thinking, based on their conversation at New Year’s, that he may be just the person she needs to see. The poor child desperately needs to talk honestly to somebody.
