Faulkenberg and the CoDom.......
What’s next? Moties?
On the one hand, that would be kind of a neat thing to work into a story. On the other hand it, it might get you in trouble. On the gripping hand, it would be pretty unique - but I’m not sure how many people will get the reference, lol.

Dum Vivimus, Vivamus
Nice reminder …
… I definitely need to reread both series. :-)
CoDom
Yeah, I kinda borrowed the name CoDom for these stories. I was looking at putting a few of these stories into a book and I'll have to change the name of the villains. Alliance would be hard to copyright, but CoDom is pretty obvious.

Of couse we get it
I, for one, went Crazy Eddie years ago.
Moties...
Great stories, have both of the books and one of the old AMT model kits never opened (glowed in the dark, assuming that you didn't paint it) that they based the MacArthur on, boxed and in storage at the moment. Individually Niven and Pournelle were great story tellers and together wrote some of the best Science Fiction I've ever read.
Imaginative game...
Stuck having to go on as a teen girl. If things weren't already confusing, you get to be a girl during some of the bigger changes of her life. That would be worth another story.
Where does the spy fit in?
Hugs, Jessie C
Jessica Connors
Jerry Pournelle
Would probably turn in his grave,or maybe he would try to get rid of the mote in God's eye.
Deja Vu All Over Again
Why do I feel like I've read this or something very much like it before, right down to the force-adopted parents? I'm definitely not clairvoyant, so It's not like I dreamed or anticipated it. Is this a reworked version of something from before?
Similar
Another recent story involving the sander had a guy it reconstituted using an unauthorized profile because it was the only to get him out the sander. She was adopted in the sequel. Similar but different plots.
I remembered the sander story too
Regardless, I liked this one but it certainly would be a pain to have to work oneself back up the ladder after having already seen there.

Nice Start :-)
I enjoy your stories that deal with actual transformation and this one is pretty enjoyable. For me, the ending lacked. I can see a ton of ways that this could be continued on. It could be a great adventure story and I love transformation adventure stories. Hope you take another look at it.
I love SciFi stories
and I'm certainly glad I read this one before 'Spies Like Us'. Vert well written.
I feel this is a pretty good
I feel this is a pretty good beginning but it kind of needed more to the background. I’m not sure, maybe I was trying to see it in a fuller anime/sci-fi universe that goes more into the DoCom vs Alliance struggle. Perhaps combining this story with the others that exist in the same universe (bad pun intended). This story needs to be combined with “Spies Like Us” to give us a more complete narrative…(to be continued in “Spies Like Us”)
