Some 'grandmother types' were reported to make 'angry bread' - all that kneading seemed to help. I don't know if the bread tasted any different ...
Other Mom types would do 'angry cleaning'. Smart children learned there were only two safe things to do - help or vanish. Preferably vanish. Or maybe vanish into their rooms, lock the door, and get them very, very clean.
