We spent a quiet New Year’s Eve, my spouse, my three sons, one daughter-in-law (one stayed home as she wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want to expose the baby), and my 11 week old granddaughter.
Pizza, chicken wings (hot and mild because apparently I am the only member of the family who can eat them hot, lol), shrimp, and the usual chips and dips - plus a few glasses of wine, soda, and coffee. Yeah……. we’re all getting older and somewhat more responsible I guess. LOL, the highlight of the night was playing Yahtzee and Scrabble while my granddaughter sat on my lap; lost at Yahtzee and won at Scrabble.
So I am sitting here now watching New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with my spouse, everyone else having gone home earlier. The ball dropped in NYC a little over an hour ago, some 150 miles due south of here, and we’re just watching the music now. I will confess to not knowing some of the artists, but right now Mariah Carey is singing a surprisingly nice song.
Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year, hopefully better than the last one for all of us!
Remember, just three more years of Donnie Two Dolls……..

Please, let it be a lot shorter than that. We don't want the Orange Fool to continue dragging our country through the mud in addition to destroying our economy.
Why people who wanted him thought he could 'fix' things is way beyond my comprehension.
Edit: Unfortunately, it is like holding the tiger by the tail at this point. Keep screwing up till the midterm elections but minimizing the inevitable further damage that will occur is an unfortunate necessary reality to ensure taking back the house as nobody around him will push for the 25th amendment.
