Since early this morning, when I call for a FictionMania page, I get a blank page. Is anyone else having trouble? Or is it all on my end?

I've had a problem with Fictionmania all day. I thought that it was my system that was the problem.

Is kinda like this almost everyday. Usually takes a while but it's always back up and running.

May be bots
Given the recent hammerings that BC has had, it may be bots trying to saturate the site.
All anyone can do is back off and try again some other time.

I'm seeing lots of activity
on my website. I mean lots. They are all attempts to access the site using "Login.cgi". That is old skool. I have not seen a site with that file present for years.
Thursday : 112 login attempts
Friday : 198 login attempts
TBH, there is no point in blocking the source IP address.
Keep alert people.
