Christy does have a reputation with her classmates for having the worst grades in the class. Whether that is true is between Christy and Mr. Conner. Neither one is going to confirm that. So, for her to play with the magic FAFO doesn't surprise me one bit.
Other Christy facts, with her being a late August, early September birth, she is the oldest 5th grader. She is also the tallest girl.
