The Lucky One: Luck Be a Lady Chapter 3
Sara, the two unicorn girls, and I walked into the principal's office. Well, calling it an “office” probably did it no justice. It was so large it shouldn’t have fit into the school.
Instead of a traditional desk, it had an actual throne.
On the throne was a woman in armor. She had long black hair, and a bloody spear in one hand. Yes, I meant that literally - the spear had what I was sure was blood on the edge.
On one arm of the throne there was the largest owl I have ever seen.
On the steps leading up to the throne were two women, one on the right and one on the left. The one on the right looked to be a normal teen girl - except for the wings on her back.
But it was the older woman on the left that I couldn’t take my eyes off. Because I realized who she was almost immediately.
She was none other than Dorothy Colleen.
She stood up, came over to Sara and I, and turned to the woman on the throne, and said, “Fluke, Sara, allow me to introduce Athena Promachos, goddess of wisdom, warfare, and crafting. Lady Athena, this is the luckiest woman alive, Fluke, and her girlfriend and fellow heroine Sara. You’ve met the unicorns Melody and Bonnie, and the young lady with the wings goes by the codename Mercy.”
“I have heard of self insert stories before, but this takes the cake” I said to Dorothy, “So writer-woman, what happens now?”
“That’s the thing,” she said, “I haven’t any idea.”
“Really?” I asked.
“Yep. been blocked for months” She replied.
“Months?” I asked.
“Remember time passes differently for me than for you.” she replied.
Then she jumped up and said, “I got it!”
“Well share with the rest of us” I joked.
“We make a goddess to contain the chaos.”
“How do we do that?” Sara asked.
“Together.” She replied,
So Athena lent Dorothy her wisdom, Mercy and the unicorns lent her mana, and Sara and I lent her our luck (which is how I discovered Sara actually had a little of my power), and Dorothy called the chaos wave.
I don’t know how long we worked together, but soon Dorothy was glowing with the chaos energy, and began to shape the goddess that would contain it.
She would be the goddess of creativity, of stories, and of wild luck.
Eventually, she took form, but then we had to name her to finish the job, and for a moment, we were all stuck.
Finally, Dorothy said “Erin”
And the proto-goddess smiled, and glowed, and then vanished.
“Did we fail?” Sara asked.
“No,” Athena said, “she is here, and there, and all over this universe. And possibly beyond.”
“Then its time for me to go home” Mercy said, and faded out.
“Us too, I guess” Sara said, and we returned to our own dimension, but Dorothy came with us.
She gave me a hug, and then smiled and said, “I just wanted to say, you are my favorite, Fluke. I hope my muse allows me to visit you again.”
I blushed, but before I could respond, Dorothy faded out.
“Should I be jealous?” Sara asked.
“No, because you are MY favorite” I replied.
“Smart girl.” Sara said, and gave me a kiss.
“Come on,” I said, “The Doctor of Magic will be interested in what happened on our little tour”
And hand in hand, we walked toward the Compound, and the rest of our lives.
Together.
End.

I Feel as Though...
...I'm missing something.
Are we supposed to know the significance of the bloody spear? And, for that matter, most of the other props in the principal's office -- I know you had a M.Y.T.H. school that included unicorns as students, but none of the rest of it seems familiar. (Just re-read "The Secret of M.Y.T.H". That explained the two young unicorns, but not the administrators or the throne room.)

Athena is often portrayed carrying a spear. I just added the blood for effect. In ancient Athens there was a temple with a statue of her standing, but I figured even a goddess has to sit down sometime. The girl with the wings is Mercy, and you can read her story here: https://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/book-page/66396/mercy
Always had a sneaky suspicion
I thought there was something extra about Erin. Good to discover her origin story!
