A good ending point
I guess still has a few unanswered questions like who was after Raven & did this have have anything to do with the case she was involved in?

A nice story
My bet was for the Senator taking out the contract on Raven, his self image was destroyed when his involvement became known.
Of course not everyone involved was listed, so there may have been another person.
Until everyone is dead and buried, Raven won't be entirely safe, except from the one who tried to have her killed.
This story has some real nasty characters, who came across as nasty individuals because of the nice writing. And because of that writing, those being abused came across as abused, scared, and tormented. And relieved when the arrests and trials were done.
This is another of those stories that grabs you by the throat and hangs on until the end.
Others have feelings too.
