I'm taking a few days off to go see some of the desert museums and chill before it gets too hot to make such a trip.

I'll be gone Thu and Fri, probably recuperating Sat and Sun but I will have my phone and laptop with me.

"Bugg in the System"

Sometime today, probably in the evening Eastern Time, our servers will be unplugged and the rack they are in will be moved to a new location in the server farm before being plugged back in and rebooted.

Piper has been to the server farm these last two days to help ensure this goes smoothly, and we are not expecting to be down for more than an hour.

Don't Panic. :)

This has been planned for months, but is part of the reason we wanted to be sure we had money in the bank, right now, in case Piper had to stay overnight or something.

The site was out for more than an hour today due to movement of equipment at our ISP. They apparently unplugged us in the move, but we're back up now.

They will be doing more equipment moving this week so we may experience more outages.

Sorry about that.

Cathy called. She's home now and recovering still, grateful that no one will be waking her up for her sleeping pill now. :)

She seems to be in good spirits but is tired easily, so it may be a few days before she can say howdy.

Our bank account is empty. We're almost a month behind on where we should be for operating funds.

For the last four months, we have been short of funds at the end of each month and borrowed from the next month to keep going. That mule is dead and will not cross the finish line. I just put money of my own into the company account to cover for a few days

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US and Happy Thursday to everyone else. :)

I'm leaving for a four-day vacation in about an hour, going to San Diego for Comic-Con Special Edition, first con I've gone to in more than four years. It's just a nearly straight ride down the freeway and I have a hotel only a few blocks from the Convention Center.

I'm fully vaccinated and boosted and everyone else has to be to get inside so it should be pretty safe.

Pete deals with Jake, his family and Megan. But there are a lot of questions not yet answered.

Unable to visit with friends, two of whom were out of state, I decided that I had time to tackle a big project of a sort I had been thinking of for sometime.
