I think its wonderful that thousands of years ago, humans gave cute nicknames to pets, wrote each other love letters, made complaints about not being paid enough, and wrote graffiti on walls.

I remember graffiti bemoaning the poor state of young people
IE stuff about not respecting their elders, being lazy, drinking, petty crime and so on.
The graffiti was excavated in the ash buried ruins of Pompeii Italy.
IE it was from 79 AD
