Nice chapter
Nice chapter
Loved the first part with the scales
Interesting preparations
Hopefully there will be a big feast
Thanks
Thanks
Yeah, Alex and Michelle had some fun there, and so did I while writing it.
I wanted to show some aspects of the local culture and weddings (and the preparations for them) seemed a good way to do that.
Yes, there will be a feast, as is proper.

An interesting day…….
For both Alex and Lannah, especially in light of their attraction to each other.
I halfway expected an attack on Alex and her parents at the wedding.

“Hier stehe ich; ich kann nicht anders. Gott helfe mir.”
Dum Vivimus, Vivamus
To say the least
Yeah, that was an interesting way to spend time together, and the attraction just made it more so.
I thought about an attack or something, but I figured I should be nice to my characters for once lol

“Then be bound to one another.”
wow. I love a good wedding!
Me too
Good weddings are always nice to watch, or be involved with, and I put a lot of thought into the cultural aspects of this.

Not too sure about the choker idea,
puts a whole new twist on the ball and chain concept. Seems kind of permanent it can be used for evil with magic in that world.
I wanted a local equivalent
I wanted a local equivalent to a wedding ring, and I liked the idea of the chokers. Honestly the same could be done with rings, and keep in mind that yes, there is magic in this world, but there are also quantifiable Gods, and I doubt they would take too kindly to someone misusing one of their symbols.
