Sunshine Memorial Hospital:
Vesper wakes up days later, confused and disoriented. The last thing she remembered was Stephen subduing her brother, after he beat her and shot her. She looks around the hospital room and notices a bunch of flowers, get-well balloons, fruit baskets, and other kinds of baskets sitting in every open space. There was an empty chair sitting next to her hospital bed.

Vesper realized that she wasn’t wearing a hospital gown, but a lacy baby blue nightgown. Someone must have brought it in for her to wear. She could tell from the perfume scent coming off the nightgown that it must have been one of the female members of the swinger club. She doesn’t feel the choker around her neck. She goes to move, but is reminded by a sharp pain from the broken ribs she received.

She looks down at her right leg and notices it was in a new kind of cast. She had heard about the new cast on the web. It used epoxy pumped inside a special design liner. It would allow her to shower and let her skin breathe.

Vesper saw the bandage going around her upper right thigh, and her face was bandaged up from where her brother punched her. Around noon, a nurse came into the room.

“How are you feeling, ma’am?” Nurse Coolie goes over to check on Vesper.

“Like I went twenty rounds with the Incredible Hulk.” Vesper knew her brother did a job on her. She wishes she could have defended herself better.

“Well, you did come into the emergency room in pretty rough shape. Dr. McCoy and Dr. Gates worked on you and managed to stabilize you. Dr. Crusher worked on your knee, while Dr. Bashir worked on your face.” Nurse Coolie starts checking over Vesper. She records her vitals on an electronic tablet that all the hospitals are using now.

“How long have I been unconscious?” Vesper was starting to feel everything coming back to her.

“For a few days, ma’am. You came in pretty beaten up.”

“What happened to the choker I was wearing?” Vesper didn’t want to lose it.

A smile appeared on Nurse Coolie’s angelic face. “It’s in the nightstand drawer next to your bed. Any metallic objects you had on your body had to be removed when we gave you an MRI scan.”

Nurse Coolie places her petite hand on Vesper’s. “The club knows what happened to you and is doing everything they can to bring your brother to justice. Judge Henry is going to throw the book at him. You’re special to the club.”

Nurse Coolie smiles at Vesper. She knew Vesper was very popular within the club and among the influential in the club. The people who have taken an interest in medical care are making sure she gets the best help.

After Nurse Coolie leaves the hospital room, Mr. and Mrs. Harper arrive to check on Vesper. Vesper liked when she had sex with them. Mrs. Harper was in her fifties and loved dressing Vesper up as a slutty naughty schoolgirl. She also liked sitting on Vesper’s face and making her eat her out and drink her piss.

Mr. Harper loved watching his wife debase young women and turn them into their playthings. They had one girl who lived with them who was their pet. She liked sleeping in dog cages and being treated like an animal, instead of a human.

She even allowed herself to have artificial animal parts added to her body, to make the illusion she was portraying even more real. She looked like a French Poodle and acted like one. Vesper asked her once why, but the girl never said. All she would indicate was she liked living that way.

Mr. and Mrs. Harper stayed for a while. Chef Dillen brought Vesper a nice cooked meal from his restaurant. He knew how bad hospital food was. By the time Stephen arrived after work, he saw how well Vesper had been taken care of by the swinger club's top members.

“You look like the queen in here.” He kisses Vesper on the lips.

“How are you feeling, sweetie?” Stephen looked at Vesper as she sat up some on the bed.

“Like I’ve been treated like a beloved pet. Also, like I got my ass kicked by the Hulk.” Vesper was still hurting.

“Well, you don’t have to worry about your brother, because he is in the hospital as well and is being watched by two police officers. Once he is feeling better, he is going to appear before Judge Henry, and from what I heard, he is going to throw the book at him for hurting you. Several of your special clients are going to make sure he pays for hurting you.” Stephen kisses Vesper again.

During the week, Vesper is visited by several high-ranking members from the Swinger club. They all wanted to make sure she was safe and healing okay. Vesper's main doctor informs her that she’ll lose some flexibility in her right leg because of the bullet shattering her kneecap and damaging the tissue and bones. She'll have to use a cane to walk. They managed to rebuild her knee, but even with her new knee, she would need the cane. She would be starting physical therapy once her thigh heals enough.
