Charlie is forced to take extra measures to protect his prisoner for she still has not revealed her identity or nationality, but she knows something important.

Chapter Three – Susan

The identity of the killer and his backstory is revealed but not to the police who continue their investigation. Steve's moral courage is tested when temptation comes his way. Penelope continues to remain sober and a valuable asset to the Task Force.

Last man standing?

Charlie, Juliet and the newly formed team of female astronauts, complete their first mostly successful moon trip but, on returning, Juliet still comes up against some misdirected feminista prejudice that is nailed firmly by the girls.

Charlie takes some home leave and by dint of his family inter-reactions causes more feminista to have second thoughts about Feminist politics

Charlie eventually plants a seed of liberation within the upper echelons of Australian feminine society. They at least agree to create a discussion document (a green paper) to set an equality bill before parliament.

Charlie and Chloe finally recover their children but the UQ colonel is still at large.

Charlie and associates finally trace the RAAF pick-up ute but now it's matter of stopping it safely and recovering three-year-old Charlotte.

Crashed on Landing.

Charlie get's on the trail of the kidnappers with some unexpected assistance.

Charlie sets about causing severe civil unrest and it proves unbelievably easy.

Colonel Wilson and Jane Anston finally locate Doctor Chloe Evans's whereabouts and close in.

Shade looks at Hatter as they drove towards Washington D.C. He could tell she wasn’t happy about leaving Bree behind or leaving her.

“Are we doing the right thing about adopting Bree?” Aylin looks at Mark as he sat behind the steering wheel.

“Yes, and you knew from the beginning that there will be times we will have to leave her. Look at Dakota and Terry. They sometimes have to leave the twins when Anika has a mission for them.”

Introductory Note:

Over on Fictionmania I post very short pieces which are simply jottings inspired by images that I view from time to time. For me they are little exercises - mind flexing moves to keep my story writing fresh and to try to find new perspectives on what are often just tired tropes. But sometimes the idea needs to be fleshed into a full idea and that is what I usually post over here on Big Closet Top Shelf.

Chloe eventually helps Charlie to work out a possible solution to his conundrum of making his science available without weaponising it.
