Even though I got in late I slept soundly and was up early for my morning jog followed by my stretching routine. All my preparation rituals fell into place and in no time, I was out the door. The lightness of last night hung with me as I jogged. It felt as though my feet never touched the ground. When I got back, I needed to pee so while sitting I re-examined my labia creation. After wiping I did a minor readjustment.

They call it our Community Presentation Day on the banners and posters, but that’s really only half the story. Forgotten somewhere under the hood or between the lines, officially, it’s known as Assessment Day. We all call it The Sorting.

Once back at Sam’s place Sam got out his Ipad and started browsing through it while I put away my things and changed out of my dress and underwear. I came out wearing a pair of shorts and a silk blouse along with fresh undies. I then sat down in the recliner next to Sam and watched him go through a few screens on his Ipad.

It was a short drive from campus to the bar. As we drove up I saw a sign outside that said happy hour starting at this hour with all mixed drinks for the ladies half off. Seeing that it was open I was keen on going in but asked Sam if he was up to it. Seeing how this excited me he agreed for a short stop and said smiling that since it was ½ price drinks for the ladies it would be a cheap date.

Monday morning came and the alarm went off and I really didn’t feel like moving. The sun came through a crack in the drapes that coaxes me into wakefulness. Once out of bed I started my morning routine and was out jogging before Sam was up.

I awoke early and went into my morning routine preparing for my jog. By the time I had returned Sam was already up and having breakfast. After stretching a bit I came in and joined him. Looking at the clock he said we would have to leave in a couple of hours if I was to make my appointment in the basin LA basin area due to traffic. I agreed and went to cleanse and prepare myself for the day.

I awoke from a troubling dream coming from my encounter with the woman in the bathroom the other night. The dream dealt with being chased by woman yelling you are not a woman at me.

As I started my morning preparation, I felt depressed and anxious in that today I was to go out on my own and work as a woman. From somewhere deep inside of me a feeling of despair came over me, and I could feel tears forming and drip down my cheeks. It was a feeling of being overwhelmed in my efforts to present a full feminine persona.

Having taking leave of Sam I moved to my room and began my night preparations. After removing my jewelry and outer clothes I took a moment to gaze at my feminine form in the mirror prior to going through what would be a nightly routine.

I had a free afternoon coming up that had the house free and gave me time to get changed and hold a private conversation. Once I set the date it seemed that I was a bit more focused and relaxed. The afternoon of the call though I did start to get butterflies in my stomach but I managed to focus on my makeup and presentation.

I am not sure what he expected when he came on, but I was sitting there on the screen and introduced myself as Barbara the sister of his friend. Sam’s first comments took me a bit by surprise and made me blush when he stated “boy you are hot’.

Part 4 – A New Chapter in our Lives

Chapter 47 – It’s A Small World

After our regular morning activities, we’d be leaving the house on Monday, so I removed my breast forms and dressed as Justin: a golf shirt, shorts, and loafers. Kayla chose a blue sleeveless knit blouse, white shorts, and sandals.

A little bit of background before I begin divulging the profoundly sensitive experience that occurred when a longtime family friend discovered my cross dressing. I will refer to the family friend as Sam who was an elderly widower (since passed) whom our family has known for 20 years. Our family lived in the same area as Sam but moved out of state about 6 years ago. We still have remained close though, and I have stayed with him over the past few years since, I still have business connections in the area.
