Being a young male, what I was considering doing was illogical, crazy and if caught disastrous. I was raised by my Mother and two older sisters. Given the name of Corey at birth I was somewhat normal during my childhood. Both of my sisters were seven years older than me, actually twins and quite imposing as members of the female gender. I was probably an oops baby, but no matter how many times I inquired about the gap between my sisters birth and mine everyone remained steadfastly silent.

Been awhile since I've posted. I've started a series of novels based on the Magic, Mystery and Mayhem Universe. I'm calling this one The Case of the Twisted Sister. It has TG in it...along with a campy feel. I'm hoping to make a series similar to the old Scooby Doo Mysteries...not sure if I'll be successful.

A salon visit prompts a possible adventure

Chapter 9: Justice

Linus took a deep, ragged breath, his voluminous chest rising and falling, and pulled through the gate. He followed the drive to the spacious brick-paved area beside the entrance to the enormous house. Conrad’s gleaming new Porsche was there along with a massive pickup truck also sporting the decorative orange license tag with the big white paw in the middle. Seeing the truck, a flash of horror ran through his mind, seemingly from nowhere. Anna’s heart pounded in his chest, and Linus felt light-headed as he put the car in park, hands shaking.

Chapter 4: The Claws

Linus ran a red light on the way home from Scarlett’s hotel. He was so distracted. The Fortis Beach Police that pulled him over recognized Linus from his days in the municipal court before he joined the firm. They talked about all the speeders and drunk drivers Linus had convicted as a junior prosecutor and those he’d gotten acquitted in his brief time as a defense attorney. The officer told Linus he’d let him go with a warning as long as nothing came back when he ran his license through their computer.
