I have a serious dilemma I've been plagued with as of late. My most recent story, Season of the Witch, is finally winding itself down and I've really enjoyed writing it but suddenly noticed its actually taken me nearly six months to do so. This is by far the longest time its taken me to write a story.

When I first started this universe, everything was going fine. There was the right balance of story and characters, enough to populate the town and keep it still mysterious. Now however, the town has been starting to get flooded with characters and all different kinds of stories, all of which that seem to be happening at once. So sadly there is going to be a new DRU rule from now: No More Stories in Ravencrest.

I hate to do this but there's really no other way. The town is just too crowded now and not everything can happen at the same time.

Its come to my attention as of late that I'm finding it harder and harder to run this universe on my own. The DRU is getting bigger by the day and as one person I can't keep track of everything---new authors, new ideas---so I've decided to ask for help. Maggie Finson and Donjo have graciously agreed to help take some of the burden off my shoulders.

I'm currently calling it our Triumvirate LOL :)

Sorry for the delay in Seasons of the Witch but real life has been interfering with my writing. Its a combination of several things including very little sleep, a certain video game and the beginning of a cold. I hope that it will be done soon but seeing as I've got less than a page of Ch.7 written it might still be a few days.

I'm recruiting authors to join my new universe, the DarkRealms. I've already written one story for it, Life is Precious. Maggie and Lilith have both contributed as well, both their stories are still currently on the front page for those of you who haven't read them. I've decided to create a universe out of my Halloween story, Life is Precious. Its now apart of The DarkRealms Universe. There's a universe page up now and I'm looking for any interested authors who might want to write in it---I already have a few but am looking for more.

I'm sure that a lot of you are wondering where the rest of the story is, I'm usually pretty punctual with getting my chapters up at least once a week. But throughout the whole of this story I've really struggled with the narrative. I love Olivia, I love everything about her. I think that this story was too much of an undertaking for me. I love writing it or at least I did when I started. About halfway through however it started to become a choir, something I did because I didn't want to abandon the story halfway through.
