I was lying in bed reading and Cuddles lying next to me. Some big truck passed on the street and shook the house. Cuddles decided someone must be in the house and started growling. I got up to go to the living room with her, she wouldn't go alone, to show her no one was in the house. She was right behind me.

What's a desert without pyramids? Big piles of reasons and complications and relationships...

Still no idea what happened yet, the server was down for over 12 hours but the ISP said only "server up" and closed the trouble ticket. I'm annoyed.

What Mommas Do

The node counter table in the database got corrupted during the crash early this morning. The system seems to have crashed due to a power brownout, probably due to high winds in LA. Bob and I will try to fix the database table tomorrow but I still haven't tracked down the My Stories problem.

I haven't done any writing since Mom got really sick, and me too. But I'm sitting here listening to Tom Petty, Dave Matthews, Hank Williams, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash and Randy Newman (my iPod is confused, too). Something happened, a song. Imagine this written and performed by one or more of the above guys.

Fifteen stories/chapters posted yesterday! 5605 visitors yesterday and 5698 on Thursday! Over 22,000 page hits both of those days.

BC/TS is alive and ding well. :)
