I think . . .
. . . she can spring for a really nice bikini. For some reason, the more they cost, the less fabric they use, too. :)
Lots of Mexican restaurants up here in the Northeast, too, by the way. I’m not sure I’d call any of them ‘good,’ though. Sigh!

Two things
First, less fabric in a bikini. I've seen a few that if they were all cotton, I've encountered more cotton in the top of an aspirin bottle.
As to Mexican restaurants. In my small town we have an excellent one, their enchilada espinaca is to die for. My wife can't handle spicy food. As a result, we've not been to very many Mexican restaurants. I finally coaxed her into this one and she's able to enjoy about half of their menu. It's definitely not the Tex-Mex that most others pass off as Mexican food. Jose, the chef is a native Mexican and I'm sure his recopies are authentic.
A Mexican lady who used to go to our church would do burritos for after church fellowship occasionally. The salsa she used was flavorful and not spicy. When asked, she said, "You don't think we serve our children jalapeño based salsa, do you?"

Tex-Mex is the bane of a small town.
We have three Mexician food places here in town, and both serve what you would call "Tex-Mex" style cooking. Some would even go as far as to say that Taco-Bell is more authentic than what they prepare. Debating the merits of both aside. The Mexican food place a tried and true tested gathering spot for most people in a small southern town. Generally it's the only "Family" type resturant were your allowed to causally drink. Most small southern towns have at least one if not two Mexican resturants.
As for Mexican food in general, I'm more creole/seafood/steak type of gal myself. Though I have grown to crave it seen I've swam to Rome. Thank you for the comment Patricia!
Emily is a shy...
Emily is a shy little teen still unsure of herself. I think she'll go for a modest one piece. After all she'll be perched high above the water for all the town to see her. Now, if she goes to the beach or if Aunt Flora takes her to the water park~ I'm sure she'll go for the less is more troupe! As always thank you for the lovely comment Emma!
Hmmmmm.....
Well, before relocating to El Paso in 2012 we lived in NE Pennsylvania and had spent many years at the beck and call of Uncle Sam. The trick to finding a good Mexican place is to make sure the kitchen is run by an abuela (or preferably an abuelita).
It Seems To Me
That everybody gets dunked in the US South. It strikes me as a bit sadistic, but then that's the culture.
I have to admit that when it comes to Mexican food my palate is totally uneducated. There is an outfit called Guzman y Gomez that is taking Australia by storm. The food tastes OK to me but I have no idea if it is the real thing.
I think Emily should stick to a one-piece, and I'm delighted for her good fortune. Be careful, girl and keep a tight rein on that money.
