Cathy, Cathy, Cathy
When are you going to realize you are sick, and need to take care of yourself properly? Yelling at Phoebe isn't taking care of yourself, and I suspect you are about to be back in the hospital, possibly now, instead of tomorrow like the Dr. said, if your breathing did not improve. Good Luck there, if you do.
Bonzi, you and Izzy are doing a great job extending Cathy's illness! Please Continue!! Scritch, Scratch, and Rubbies on the tummies.
Don't let someone else talk you out of your dreams. How can we have dreams come true, if we have no dreams?

Pasties
I imagine there are regional differences. I had a pasty when we were in Cornwall a few years ago. My Grandfather was Cornish; however, the pasty preferring gene must have been lost. I was not impressed. I understand the miners would take the hot pasties into the mines and they would help keep them warm; the miners, not the mines.
The girls need to get that BLUE LIGHT working soon. We don't need to have another crisis in Cathy's lungs; however, that's up to our esteemed authors.

It's not the cough...
...second thoughts, probably not a good idea to repeat that old joke :)
The trouble with Cathy is that even though everyone else is doing a good job at keeping the house running, she's a workaholic and can't grasp the concept of taking it easy. Ideally she needs to settle into a cosy chair, with a laptop and lap tray, so she can do the survey work while still keeping everyone in eyesight. Maybe she should ask Trish or Sammi to install a text-to-speech program, or alternately record a few choice phrases at low volume, then play them back when needed at top volume (thus achieving the effect without needing to risk her lungs again).
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
I hope 'Pot Plant's' means something different on Cathy's side
of the pond.
Here, raising pot plants will get you in trouble. Raising them is illegal under US Government law in all 50 states, though many states have laws that try to allow it for medicinal purposes.
But the Feds are cracking down on that, as Federal law trumps state laws.
And it appears that most of the 'medicinal' marijuana sold is not to patients who actually get some benefit from it, but rather, recreational users, either using forged prescriptions, or prescriptions from doctors who just dill them out for a fee.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

The smell of chips ...
... is wonderful and that's the problem :) I haven't eaten meat for over 30 years but the the cafe I used to pass as I cycled to work was always making bacon butties and there's something about that smell too :)

Agreed , The smell of chips...
...is wonderful and even more so when they were fried in dripping as they used to be when we went on our family holidays to Scarbourgh all those years ago ... Nothing since as ever quite tasted the same, And thats probably because now days they use vegetable oil which i am sure is better for you but taste wise is just not in the same league..

Pot Plants?
She should grow her pot outside. The plants make more THC when exposed to ultraviolet.
Easy As Falling Off A Bike pt 1811
Seems to me that Cathy working out on the turbo will help her to gain a stronger wind.
May Your Light Forever Shine
Wow...
She must be doing better. I couldn't IMAGINE doing 30 minutes on a bike right now. Bactrim 3x a day for three weeks is supposed to do the magic though, but this soon, I'm tired just standing up a half hour.
Given all that work she did (abusing her lungs), it's no surprise they became more inflamed for the Doc's visit. *sighs*
The meals DID sound quite appetizing. Me, I had to eat some junk food (they don't serve that stuff in the Hospital around here, and I did without for a week)... But, I'll be back to healthy food, soon. :-)
Glad folks are stepping up to help Cathy. That's quite a good sign. Wonder if they got a good scare out of her being hospitalized, and will actually try to help around the house, for a little while.
Thanks,
Annette
I think this whole health problem thing
... is to also force Cathy to learn how to delegate and in doing so give the other people around her more incentive to help her when she is well again so she does not become overworked to the point of exhaustion.
It also let her children to learn to be more responsible, especially the older adolescents.
Cathy still needs to learn to take her spiritual responsibilities seriously though.
