Someone on Fictionmania said I should use more dialogue, instead of “wall to wall narration” so here goes...

He stared at the battlefield anger simmered through his veins. The minions of Dorian The Pretender had been saved by the turn coat Shaya. Illian had been a knight of great skill under the rightful King Lyam and to do this…it angered him beyond measure. The fact that they were transformed into the stupid bitch that she was now was just more proof that Dorian The Pretender was dragging all that was pure and good of their race into the levels of the beasts that he was forced to work with.

“Still trying I see.” Darrius said laughing his attack flowing together making an almost impenetrable defense in itself. “I thought I would take you alive, however after everything you have put me through I don’t think so! “ He roared going for a killing blow only to find his daggers slicing through the now molten metal of Ash’s two handed sword.

“Please, don’t leave...” he heard a weak voice say before darkness claimed him.

How insidious is evil? Can it become genetic? Can good be genetic? Where does that leave freedom of choice?

The government limousine that had picked Stephanie up from the airport sped along the highway at a speed that was above the limit. It passed police cars which didn't give chase because it was a diplomatic vehicle. Unfortunately for the passenger in the back seat of the vehicle this felt more like a kidnapping.

I leave the hospital a bit reluctantly at first heading out into the morning sunshine and not bursting into flames was…its bad fiction really, it is the re-souled vampire or Vampyre I guess according to THE GODDESS seeing the sun for the first time in so long.

I really don’t want to burst people’s bubbles but tons of vamps have seen the sunshine, most of us have and do all the time it’s just that we can’t have the sunshine actually touch us.
