The anniversary celebration of the D-Day landings on the Normandy coast of France was a big annual event. Especially this year, the 80th, largely because it was obvious that this was likely the last such celebration which many of the regular attendees among those who had been active participants in that invasion would be physically present for. Or present at all.

However, that limit did not apply to all those who had been on Normandy's beaches that day.

Maze High School had let out for the day, and Toni Myer and Adam Thomas were walking down an empty hallway discussing an upcoming event. “But Adam, it’s only one day, and for a good cause.” She grabs Adam’s hand and tells him, “Let’s go in here where we can talk more about this.”

Morning light cascaded through the intricately carved lattice windows, casting a soft, golden glow that danced across the room and warmed the luxurious silk sheets entwined around her body like a gentle embrace. The air was rich with the mingling scents of sweet incense, the delicate allure of foxfire, and the lingering whisper of smoke from the extinguished candles, creating an atmosphere both serene and enchanting.

This is a sequel to Demon Queened, but I'll do my best to make sure you don't need to read the original to make sense of it. I still recommend the original - it was a good series, in my opinion! - but reading it shouldn't be a necessity.

Author's Note: This story takes place after Mighty Morphin Quantum Refraction and The Charmed Leap in that order but can be read as a stand alone story. Also I don't own any of the characters used.

five attorneys. With her husband around her last name was Braun but since the forces separation,
she had Americanized it.

Author's Note: This is a story I had help writing with Google Gemini more or less based on a dream I had with me as Tommy except I was female and still went by Kate. I don't own Power Rangers only the concept of an evil Blue Avian Ranger and the idea of a morpher that combines green and white ranger suits to make something new.
