Rick had a wide-ranging taste in what he watched; straight, lesbian, light BDSM, threesomes, all had passed before his eyes. He was a bit bored with what was on offer until he came across a T-Girl room. He had never been into one of these before. He knew what T-Girls were, but he had never had much interest in them. Jaded with everything else tonight he thought he would see what it was about, so he clicked into one of the rooms.

I’m Marty Stanley, a college sophomore in Pennsylvania, on my way to Florida for Spring break traveling down interstate 95. I’m presently going through South Carolina almost to Georgia. I left college real early this morning; planning to be in Florida tonight. Some say I’ll have a problem getting all the way to the beach area that we’re to be at today. Rex and Dilbert both changed their plans with me and left yesterday. So I’m left traveling on my own.

Even though it was a Friday night, my dad had scheduled an interview for me at this Halloween store chain that just opened up in our downtown area. Being a teenage boy, this was not ideal, as I wanted to go out with friends, but I told my dad I’d go. I threw some shoes on, and took the car to the Halloween store.

We are the Servants of Redemption. We are seven, five women, two men, united in her service, her Chosen in this world.

She calls herself Redemption in this age. She was here long, long ago, but the name she used then was lost as her people died.

“When we agreed to buy this place, you said, two years. I’ll stay and help you out for two years. Well, my tranny friend, those two years are up.”

"I know, we're all tired," said the President, in a sympathetic tone. "I think the worst part of this recovery is the people who feel honor bound to take advantage of all the problems, rather than to help with them. Hell, this afternoon I have to meet with a member of Congress who thinks that an alien invasion and a war which cost tens of thousands of lives and caused billions in damage is no reason for him to stop advancing his personal agenda. Which is to fight against everything I do."

An unauthorised story set in the SPA Universe created by Karen Page. These events are intended to take place one year after the events described in “A New Style of Education.” Reading that story first is essential to understanding the events in Double Trouble.

Life is never easy. Anyone who tells you life is good, that life is a wonderful miracle, has either got their heads in the pixie dust crack pipe or is just blowing smoke up your ass on purpose. The fact is, life is a messy brutal affair where the strong dominate the weak, and where even the strong can die if unlucky.

Of course I already knew I wasn’t normal, I’d been hiding away my sister’s undies and such and wearing them to bed… they made me feel better , I don’t know. Who knows why children do things, especially gender dysphoric children living in the back of beyond with no access to anything really, not even the most basic of healthcare.

Three odd faces were accompanying the Whateley Outcast Corner crowd, and he didn’t bother to shift his head to take them in. He did let the camera mounted on his shoulder, hooked into the jack on his neck swivel to supplement his odd perceptions.

I wrote this story about personal growth through interaction in a Virtual World largely in response to Dorothy Colleen’s challenge to write something about a 40+ transition. I’m not sure it will get that far, but the characters are the right age at least.
I set some scenes in Second Life, as that’s an environment I am familiar with. I was going to go through afterwards and edit all the references to some generic VR World but I think it gives it a more realistic feel by using the names and jargon from a "real’’ virtual world that some of you may be familiar with. Of course, I don’t own Second Life ™ , it’s a registered trademark belonging to Linden Lab. I’m not associated with them in any way and the views and people described only bear a passing resemblance to anyone real or virtual. Alll copyrights and trademarks belong to their respective owners

The main character in the story is not a person, but a river. There are also a few human characters running around ... otherwise the story might soon become boring. We also have animals in the story, but sorry Furries, none of them are anthropomorphic. Our main human is a young student about to enter high school.
