Trans-Sylvania Part 9/9

One day I was talking with Anna. “You know, I never did figure out where vampires came from.”

“Did we have to come from somewhere? Couldn’t we have just developed, like humans did?”

“And what, we converted the apes and Neanderthals back before humans developed? That doesn’t seem right. Why does holy water have an effect on us? Are we demonic in origin?”

“Huh. I never really thought about that,” Anna remarked.

Trans-Sylvania Part 8/9

I’d been in Trans-Sylvania for slightly less than a year when I got a private communication from the governors. At first, the governors had been only a vague concept to me. It wasn’t until I was working for Alyssa that I’d seen anything from the governors, and then it was second-hand stuff passed on from Alyssa. When I was an Enforcer, I’d seen group emails sent to everyone in Enforcement from the governors.

This time I was being called in for a private meeting with them, and I was told it wasn’t about my job, or at least, not my current one.

Trans-Sylvania Part 7/9

“Do you think Phil and Pam are going to work out long term?” I asked Anna.

“Probably. Did you see the way they were looking at each other last night when they left?”

“Yeah. They both texted me their thanks.”

“They texted me to say thanks, too. So ready to find two more tonight?”

“Huh?”

“Let’s go to the straight club tonight and find two more of those guys too shy to ask a girl out. If they have someone they were interested in, we try and set them up, and if not, we try to encourage them to ask someone.”

Trans-Sylvania Part 6/9

“I’m happy to do this double date if we can make the scheduling work, and if Pam agrees. I’m wondering if we should talk to Pam ourselves first, though, to help her get ready like you did with Phil.”

“Hmm, maybe. I agree that she might need help also, but I didn’t actually meet her yet.”

“Play it by ear, I guess. With sufficient notice I can do this anytime, even overnights, apart from my work hours, which you know now.”

Trans-Sylvania Part 5/9

Friday I didn’t have an evening date with Anna because she was working in the restaurant again. This time, I decided to try the Straight Only club and find a guy. It was weirder than I expected. I realized that all these men used to be women who turned into their idea of the ideal man. But that didn't seem to fully explain what I saw.

Trans-Sylvania Part 4/9

I followed her down to a portal to the 18th level, where there was a theater. But not movies on a screen. We went past the main entrance to the theater, down a long corridor, and through one of several doors, onto an empty stage, behind closed curtains. From some sort of control panel Anna selected something. There was a mechanism that I could hear under the stage which moved some set pieces into place. The title “Romeo and Juliet” appeared facing us at the top of the curtain. She did a bit more, and the display changed to read “Rosalie and Juliet.”

“Do you want to be Rosalie or Juliet?”

Trans-Sylvania Part 3/9

I got dressed in a more conservative outfit the next morning, knowing I was not dressing to date Kelly, and called her and asked her to meet me in the cafeteria. We each had a normal-sized breakfast at what were actually breakfast hours here, and remained talking awhile afterward.

“So what’s your job, Kelly, when you’re not helping orient me? Do you bring new vampires in all the time, or do you do something else?”

Trans-Sylvania Part 2/9

I converted the rest of my wallet to more of a woman’s wallet, including the other cards inside at least converting to show my new name, not knowing whether they were going to be good for anything. Then I grabbed some bag from my pile of other possessions and turned it into a small purse also matching my current outfit. I put my license in the wallet, my wallet in the purse, and also put my lipstick and phone in.

Trans-Sylvania Part 1/9

Reawakening

I was 19 when I encountered a really hot girl at a club and left with her. But we never got to the point of having sex. We kissed and ran our mouths over each other, and during this time my date Kelly bit me hard on the neck. And that was the end of my life as Brad.

Trans-Sylvania

This one's well outside my usual style but I had an idea last fall and started writing. I had no idea where it was going to go at first, but I figured it out and developed it into a novel-length story.

The Registry - part 2

The Registry .part2 by Allexcited69

This is a work of fiction that deals with a simple future. In it, most people, if they were numbers, were now simple people with simple ideas and very simple needs. Harsh language is used and this story includes descriptions of sexual behaviour that may be considered disturbing to some.

On internet censoring and killer arguments

Hi folks,

having to live in Germany made me very frightened since some days. Germany is going to be an unlawful country it already has been in Nazi-times and that with obvious best intentions.

Any interest in a site for discussing philosophical and political matters?

Hi folks,

a few weeks ago Angharad posted a very interesting question about transsexual people and terrorists. Unfortunately that discussion was stopped very early. I guess it was to avoid any flaming which surely would have come soon.
But like I said, it would have been very interesting to discuss that matter a bit further. I came to the conclusion that this site might probably not the best place to persuade such a philosophical exchange.

If there is any interest in having such discussions in depth, I'd like to provide a forum for that.
There will be of course rules to avoid unneccessary flaming or even hatred.
