Finally , here in New Hampshire at the foot of Ragged Mountain today had absolutely no clouds ,no rain and the temperature hit a balmy 70 degrees (f.) .I had thought that it wasn't going to happen this year at all. LOL so that means that the nuclear winter wont be this year. Enjoy the oncoming summer all.

I´ve just seen some basketball match on TV and had funny idea. What if some disortographic wizard misspelled basketball as bastetball? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bastet) What would consequences be? Would all players turn into furry cats playing with ball? How would they cope? I´m quite tempted to turn this into story somehow... though I´m not sure if it is enough as story base. What do you think? I´d appreciate your comments.

A few years ago, I read part of a story (I don't think it was on BC but I could be wrong) in which a boy and girl were in a school (I think) library, talking. The girl suddenly ran off, leaving the boy wondering what had happened. He followed the girl who had run into the toilets. He wnet in after her and asked what was wrong, I think she was reluctant, at first, to tell him why she had run off the way she did. eventually, though, she did tell him that she'd had a period (first?) and was embarrassed about it. She also needed clean clothes as what she was wearing was blood stained.

Every person is unique unto themselves. There are general guidelines for different truck drivers, plumbers, doctors. There are also norms for what girls should look like and how she should act in society. The same for boys. Act within society's guidelines unless you are one of those who want to flaunt "it".

As many of you already know, I will edit your writing quickly and professionally. If you are publishing on BC/TS the edit is done pro bono (I won't charge you). Work which is ultimately sold for a fee (Kindle, Nook, etc.) should be edited at a fee (negotiable). I have a web site at write-it-better.com which can visit and see what the charges might be. On the one hand, I added almost 4500 words to the new story I'm working on last night (11k+ and climbing rapidly). On the other hand, I was up 'til after 4am writing them. Thank God that I work from home most days...

Well to take the strain off my time on Wednesday I've posted More Changes - Gaby book 9 onto Kindle today rather than wait.

There was a comment on the latest excellent episode of "Somewhere Else Entirely" that asked about some maps, or, more exactly, where somewhere was on the map.

Its possibly come to some of your attention that a certain big sporting event is starting in Yorkshire this coming July. A couple of BC authors are event volunteers and I know a few more are cycling 'fans', it has therefore been suggested that we have a mini Gabycon over the weekend.

Question is, are any of you up for it? we are most likely looking at getting together after the stages for food, chatting and possibly having some TdF themed Gaby readings. Location will most likely be South Yorkshire-ish.

Let me know what you think, if you are interested or want to know more.

I've basically been stalled on the writing projects I've been working on for a while. I kind of know where I want to take them, but sitting down and getting stuff written has been hard. But last night, on a whim, I was poking through Melanie Ezell's Ultimate Writer's Challenge, one of the challenges caught my eye, and now I'm over 2000 words in to a new story.

The next book in the Gaby series, Changes should be available for Kindle later today!

I subscribe to TED Talks and today's was about Trans activist & Model Geena Rocero: Why I must come out. It's only about 10 minutes long in which she tells her story. Seems to me it took a lot of courage to get up on stage as a successful model and declare I'm trans.
