At one time I only believe that fan fiction was a distraction. It would muddy up the story and the plot. Then I learn to enjoy it for what it was and now love it. Its a twist to the authors main idea and a compliment to the original good story idea.

Penny has been away recently and slightly rushed out episode #98 just before she left.

hi all im lookking for an old story but cant seem to find it . i thought it was named the other child or maybe the third child . its about a world where births are limited to 1 or 2 but 1 couple got permission from the goverment to have a third as they were looking for certain traits . the child then gets recruited to the space academy where he gets infected by a goo like virus ment to kill women but since he wasnt one the virus mutated and started to turn him into a her . if anyone can help me find it on this site or another many thanks

Well, here I am once more able to read stories on BC/Top Shelf. I have been out of the country "many moons", as some of my ancestors might say. I was not in a position to be able to use my own laptop(not allowed, plus no signal strength where I was located), and I sure as heck was not going to be using a government one, except for my official duties. Since the Manning and Snowden "show", personal use is highly frowned on.

As I promised in my last blog I posted my emotional story 'Brother's Request' last week. I knew that story was a real tearjerker and thought for a second story I'd post something a bit lighter and sentimental. I think 'Mystic Godfather' fills that role pretty well.

Hmmm i must of missed a memo or something some of my old seaches i saved to favorites for certain story types come up with Access denied dont have permission to view that page ? has search function been totaly removed ? as i dont see the search box on main page anymore either wich made it lot easier to find the newer stories of fan fic's like whately or bikini beach just to name a few when they go more then a day or so between stories and some reason miss checking the one day they did post lol . maybe im just spoiled or rambling lol

I've not intentionally shut my site, I'm trying to get hold of Cat / Piper who look after it for me to get things rectified - heeeelllllllpppppppp!

In the UK, this is designated as "World Book Day"

Nearly everywhere else, that is on April 23rd.

However, since I am in the UK at the moment, it only seems fair to celebrate whilst I'm here.

I just wrote a long comment to Katie Leone about why she was seeing so few comments and Kudos for OEM. I read six of the seven chapters today. I had to search for them as the list of chapters at the right of the screen was screwed up.

The same was true of the forward and back controls. Sometimes they were absent, sometimes they gave nonsensical options. Chapter 7, for instance listed chapter 4 for back and chapter 5 for forward.

Wow it must have been an incredible job of work.

I Just got a new job that is to start on the 27th of this month. While was on my to a backup interview just in case something changed in the status of a job then my car died on the way. I am trying to get it towed to a repair place and have it fixed which looks like it was an alternator issue.

I am hoping my sister can help get it towed for me and pay for the repairs until I get a paycheck then buy a another car because this one is in reposession status.

My new job pays well over 60,000 a year but I need the car to last until I get the first check then get another car.

I had contacted Authors and universe Creators about writing in there universe when I had the down time at work. I had High Hopes and lots of Solid Ideas, but when I put my self down to write my muse refused to cooperate every time. For those of you that your muse will feed you ideas and help you write stories I have to tip my hat to you. My muse no matter how much I tried to cares it cox it and reason with it would give up ideas but would never help me compose those ideas into stories that people could read. I miss my High School days when it did but now it does not.

An eagle-eyed reader spotted an awkwardness in the previously published distance chart for the Bray/Palar valley.

My wife of 47 years is currently fighting a re-occurance of malignant melanoma, which has metastasized to her brain. In order to combat it the Drs are going to try Brain Surgery. Thru all the discussion etc. they frequently referred to the procedure as SRS surgery. When we got home, wanting to know more about it, she Google d SRS, and was very amused to find that the only references to that she could find were to Sexual Reassignment Surgery, which she does not think she is a candidate for. She finally found it on a medical reference web site as Stereotaxic Radio-graphic Surgery.

I have now tried in Firefox and IE, but once I log in, the home page no longer shows the options under a heading of my user name. You know the list saying Home, Add A Story, Category Browser, Forums etc etc etc ending with Log Out.

I have to select my name from the list of who's online, or from the authors list, before I get the panel.

Just sayin'

I've been going through some of my older unfinished stories and reading them lately. I came across one from Lilith Langtree called 'The Soul Does Not Perish', it's a well written modern day D&D type story. There were 9 chapters of it posted by Lilith and then nothing. I've not seen anything posted by her in a while and was wondering if anyone knew if she was still writing??
