Have a very happy day, all of you - and may the upcoming year be less stressful.

Merry Christmas to you all guys, may you be happy at least for short while, with those close to whom love you and you love them back. Please, remember it ´s not about gift, but the joy to be with loved ones and bitterweet rememberance of lost ones.
Even though Christmas are mostly Christian celebration, please make a gift of joy to one you love, so they feel loved. Touch them, hug them, because, if there ´s time to do so, today is the day.

A Great Christmas story with is my favorite worth the read at this time of the year is Santa Monica by Jennifer Brock .I strongly urge new readers to BCTS (and older readers) to go to search and look this story up . I read this every year and keep a couple of hankies close.

Some time back I was outed by one of my nephews, a particularly nasty and unthinking individual whose actions have unfortunately caused me multiple issues, not to mention the total polarization of my ex-wife's family. My ex-wife was the only person outside of my therapist and my friends here who actually new that I was transitioning - my plan being to address this with my sons in the spring of 2014. My three sons, who at the time my nephew decided to tell the world were aged 17, 22, and 25, unfortunately found out in a less than optimal fashion.

How is it that readers can read something brilliant and not be motivated to click on the kudos button or leave a comment? The authors here, many of whom are exceptional, deserve our thanks! They work hard to post wonderful, well crafted, stories and we, for the most part, ignore them. It's not right! How much effort does it really take to click that button in thanks?

Well there's a chunk to get through, so I won't dither!

Firstly, the usual updates are posted today.

After years of being a lurker, and that was before I registered on the site, I'm finally taking a more active role. I'll be posting the first chapter of a new story later today. (Yes, if I say that here, then I've got a deadline I have to meet.)

That said, I want to get a discussion going on the writing process itself. I've noticed that the appropriate section of the forums is rather dead. Goes back over 2 years on the first page of threads. So, I'm posting here.

It's a word that I can fill with my rage, frustration, desperation, anger, sadness, and regret.

Whilst poor Penny has been prodded, poked, pincushioned and 'photographed' (ok - it starts with a 'p' !!!!), I myself have had some RL projects to deal with, so I have been adding to my air mile accounts.

Julina is not forgotten - it's just a wry happenstance that this one big day of her life has taken longer to post than the descriptions of the few weeks preceding!

I expect to have something for you early next week - as long as this sudden bout of cold/'flu disappears soon.

I'm asking is anybody having trouble opening there e-mails in there Outlook accts? Thanks! Also all I got from MSN website was their working on it!!

First off the good news, got a new cat, a grey and dark brown calico kitten that is growing fast.
So, I should be more good natured for awhile, at least until her teething becomes an issues.
