America's first 'detransition clinic' for children

I was dismayed to read that Huston's Children's Hospital, the largest pediatric hospital in the country has been 'persuaded' by the Texas Attorney General to set up a free 'detransition clinic' for children as well as stopping treatment such as puberty blockers. Apparently it is seen as a triumph for your President who of course has nothing more important on his mind.

2 weeks post cataract surgery and my eye is so blurred this is my first attemp at a post .Would anyone who knows my friend Lucy Perkins please alert her to this post as she must be wondering what happeed to me.I tried to zend her a msg ut have forgotten how to send it.Can someone explain in simple terms please? Prostate cancer in trans women

The news about Joe Biden's prostate cancer diagnosis reminds me that most trans women still have their prostate and so could possibly get prostate cancer. Since testosterone tends to fuel the cancer that may reduce the incidence in trans women with a lower hormone level but does not eliminate it and it seems that the PSA test which is often used as an indicator of cancer may be normal in a trans woman who has early cancer.

'Protect the Dolls' tee shirt

I read in the online Guardian that a fashion designer called Connor Ives concluded a February runway show with a tee shirt with the message 'Protect the Dolls' on it. The article says that 'dolls' is an affection term for trans women used by the LGBTIQ community. Perhaps I've been on another planet but I've never heard of it - has anyone else? Apparently the tee shirts are selling like the proverbial hot cakes which I guess can't do any harm.

Those of us who are keen readers of Angharad's saga 'Easy as Falling off a Bike', will be thrilled to see that a dormouse appears on the new 1p British coin. Not only is the heroine Cathy Watts (Lady Cameron) an expert on dormice, so is author Angharad.

Is it possible that news of Bigcloset's longest saga has reached the Mint, or even Buckingham Palace? One never knows.
