Chapter One

On October 31st, Nineteen hundred eighty eight, at three twenty three in the morning, Kwan Bae Brooks was brought into the world in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Christmas Eve Day and there were still a lot of people doing their Christmas shopping or picking up thing that they had forgotten. The shopping centre was busy just as it was on normal day, except that is for one one small corner were a Santa`s Grotto was situated. The girls dressed as elves and a rather large man dressed as Santa Claus. The queues were long and noisy and the parents were in line with their youngsters after paying whatever the amount was to see Santa.

Adults are weird. I don't understand them at all.

I know I am a girl named Cynthia Peters. Just that, however the adults keep trying to make me a boy. I just don't understand.

I first wrote this in 2007, but thought it would be appropriate to submit it here for you at this festive time. This is the first Sunday in Advent, so my prayer for you all is that your wishes come true... eventually!

It was the night before Christmas, Andy was kneeling on the end of his bed with the curtains open; his nose pressed against the windowpane. It was snowing, so he was watching the view from his bedroom window transform itself from the usual vista of fields and hedgerows into a white paradise.

Part 1

I was so happy to be done unpacking after the move from my old home in Georgia, mom had divorced dad and left taking me with her.

My dad could be a jerk some times and my mom knew it, but I still loved him and thought he was the greatest dad ever.

Mom on the other hand hated him, she had given him a lot of chances but the last straw was when she came home one day and caught him with her ex best friend.

Well it has been six months since the divorce and it is my fifth day at my new school being 10 and the new kid, its sometimes hard to fit in.

Synopsis: During Simcha Torah things change. It is better for me and others.
Is religious in nature.
