She had decided to don her magnificent royal robes, the fabric shimmering with rich hues that captured the light, and atop her head rested a delicately crafted crown, glinting like stars scattered across a midnight sky. With gentle persuasion, she had also convinced Sapphire to adorn her head with her own crown—a resplendent symbol of their unity and Sapphire's newly embraced role as her Queen.

I awoke on a tranquil Saturday morning, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the sweet scent of warm pancakes. This delightful fragrance wafted through the air like an inviting melody, gently coaxing me from the depths of my dreams.

As I sat up, sunlight cascaded through the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a soft golden glow across the penthouse like a warm embrace. In the corner, Millie and Rory lay sprawled on the floor, tucked beneath a shared blanket that enveloped them like a cocoon of comfort.

But now, as the first day of sophomore year dawned, the nerves that she’d pushed aside all summer hit her like a freight train, leaving her with a lingering sense of self-doubt.
