Hope Cathy can make it home
through the tears in her eyes after that comment from Mima. Yes, she is a very kind lady (unless you threaten her family, then she's a mama tiger). I'm hoping they'll be able to help Daisy.
Seems like Mima's gotten her voice back too.
At least Cathy didn't end up
At least Cathy didn't end up fostering this one! (yet?) ;)

And THAT is
And THAT is the operative word here--YET! The husband says there are no grandparents. I can almost see him dying in a crash of some sort, most likely while on his way from one hospital to the other, and leaving little Daisy to be cared for by our heroine!

It looks like she has two
It looks like she has two more to foster this trip out.....Dad and kids included. This extended family keeps growing. I bet the bike is way too damaged to fix after being run over like that. And is Cathys blue light gonna help them out.
On a different topic.....Episode 700 is now imminent, and the two year anniversary of this entertaining tale comes up 3 days later, on the 16th. Hats off to the Mistress of the Tale. She Who Has No Other Life has given so much, to so many, for so little. Thank you.
Angharad, One Question
“Look, now I’ve met Daisy and seen what a lovely young lady she is, how about I come in every other day and you could then either stay with Maria or get some sleep. If you carry on like this you’re going to be in hospital yourself.†At this point, Daisy agreed to give it a try. How can she agree? I thoght that the daddy had to agree.

Cathy? Kind? Really?
No, once her dander's down, Cathy has been shown to be very kind... And helping with another waif (okay young child) is right up her ally. (Mima will be great help here, I'm sure...)
I'm a wee bit worried that Paul will have an accident, Maria not come out of her coma, and Cathy'll be asked to help another child to walk... And get a big sister for Trish and Livvy. Hopefully this will not come to pass... Paul will survive, Maria will recover, and their daughter will get better without Cathy's help. Maybe just new friends for the family... Wonder what Maria would remember about the accident... And what she was thinking about - passing Cathy....
Simon was being really good, again. Interesting.
Thanks,
Annette
True on Simon
He was very patient and sweet to Cathy when she really needed him. What's come over that man? Secret sensitivity training?
Blue Light Special
This looks like a job for a certain someone with that special "touch". I mean, if you believe in that sort of thing...
Cathy best get her arse up to Southampton, too, if she wants to save that family. Getting Maria out of that coma is probably the only way to do that.
Ah, can sainthood be far behind?
Agreed
No rest for the wicked, or the angelic.
Cathy and strays
Probably need to get Cathy a shepherd's hook, her flock seems to be growing. I hope she is able to help all the family, I think they need each other as much as they do Cathy's kindness.
"Now with more gimpiness!!"
They know they can survive
Seems to me that
Paul is fast approaching the end of his tether,And if anything happens to Maria ... Well.. You don't need me to tell you what might happen!!!

I would bet that Maria, when
I would bet that Maria, when and if she ever woke up, would say that she never saw Cathy even though she did pass her. Maria might have been mentally absorbed in serious thought or reacting to something Daisy did or said and took her concentration off the roadway and her driving. Happens all the time. J-Lynn

Hold Daisy's hand, allow the aura to do it's job.
