Many of you are probably aware of my beautiful relationship and dress-up exploits with my cousin, Penny, when we were kids. So I thought it appropriate to post this Halloween story about Penny an me again here, with some appropriate updates.

Cassandra and Zoey arrive at their front door after having gone out to dinner as a sort of celebration for becoming roommates and having finished moving Zoey’s stuff. As they approached the door Cassandra noticed a liquid buildup on the door lock and motioned for Zoey to stay quiet. She determined that the liquid was a lubricant, probably WD-40, that had been used to pick her lock.

Chapter 17

She’s yelling at me and I was getting up but I stop partway and move my feet through the muck until my feet dig into something that gives me a grip.

“Come Erendae! you think you can just show up and slight me!, My family! Women, Real women! And I wouldn’t take you to task!”

“I am a real Woman.” It just comes out of me and there’s something in me that honestly claims that. I actually think it’s the first time that I’ve ever said it out loud with absolute truth.

In another part of the kingdom a woman gets up from a deep sleep. She moves to her writing table, sits down and using the sharp tip of the quill blade pokes her thumb. She then allows 5 drops of her blood to mix with the ink pad which she then grinds for some ink for the quill. Choosing a suitible square cut vellum she draws intricate circles and lines which magically disappear into the vellum. Next she carefully puts runes and letters all over which also disappear into the vellum. Putting aside that vellum she chooses a new vellum and writes a series of letters. When done the extra ink is washed away and the two parchments are rolled one over the other. She then moves to the door and opens it a few inches to hand out the parchment to an asleep page who takes the parchment and moves on his way. Thus done the woman returns to her bed unaware of what just happened.

For all this was done without both the woman, who is actually a priestess, and the page ever opening their eyes once.

Chapter 4

Wow life can certainly turn on a dime right?

It’s been a few days since everything started to change and well I’ve been just really busy. We pretty much called it a day once we had gotten home and got my things in my room and then made supper. We actually made supper together and had spaghetti. It’s so nice not to feel useless y’know.

It didn't take the girls long to find the perfect swimsuit for Juice.

"I dunno," said Justin.

"But it's great!" said Shabeez. "It's got this crazy pattern, like one of those magic eye posters!"

"What's so great about that?" asked Jenn.

The bandeau-style bodice was made as part of a tank top and the bottom had a panty with a skirt, all in a nearly psychedelic print of violet and navy lines on a white background. Across the breasts, the twisting lines made a fool-the-eye pattern that looked curved and full, even on the hanger.

Shabeez held the suit up next to Juice. "See? If she wears this top, no one can tell how flat-chested she is!"

I’m standing there stunned at the sudden rush of the girls laughing and squeeing and running all over the place. Hillary’s laughing a bit too. But she’s pointing at various girls and shouting out orders.

“Bring all your clothes even the good stuff and the stuff that you’re not using that might fit Dylan!”

“Hill.”

“You three get all the different make-up stuff we have and bathroom stuff!”

“Hill.”

“You two junk food!”

“Hiillll.”

“You two Movies!”

“Yo, Earth to Hill.”

“Deidre, mud masks and cucumbers!”

“Hillary!”

Hey bat fans....oh wait wrong one.. In the last episode of days of ... oh darn wrong one again ...where was that ...

Various sounds of searching continue.

Hmm is this it? Nope oh hey Ive been looking for that! What was I looking for again Oh yea...

In our last episode Janice and Samantha come face to face and accuse the other of being the brother while in thier fancy dress finery.

But no voice could be heard on the other end, just heavy breathing. She listened for a moment, in case they had a mouth full of food or something, then hung the phone up. “Weird.” She stated and went back to her book. A few moments later, the phone rang again. She looked at it as she considered if she really wanted to pick it up. There was a good chance that her mother could be calling, she picked it up once more. “Hello? Patterson's residence.”

It was quiet for a moment or two, then a voice spoke. It seemed to be a teen's voice, possibly older, one she didn't know. “I know.” Was all it said.
