There weren`t many occupied houses left in the neighbourhood, most had people had sold up and left, Ajax Constuction had been offering well above the value of what the properties were worth but there were still a few that refused to sell even when strong arm tactics were used. the ones that had moved all had young children and had found jobs elsewhere.

An Old Trope Revisited

I was in the change room, getting angrier by the moment. My own mother was pushing girl clothes on me! She’d dragged me into this shop, made me strip, and now had thrown skirts and dresses and girl’s underthings over the top of the door, and was demanding I put them on!

I really couldn’t believe my own mother would be doing something like this. Why would she want to turn me into a girl? Didn’t she love me just as I was? And what could I possibly do but go along with her plan?

Finally, an idea came to me, how I could end this torture.

I don’t know if there is a contest for this or not. It just came to me while I was about to lay down for a nap. May need a bit of editing, and maybe a bit more added, but this is most of the story.

It was late, very late. He parked his old car for the night. Although it was a silver car, you couldn’t tell as it was mostly orange with rust. You could hear the tinkle of the engine cooling, as he fiddled with the plug for the car. If it wasn’t plugged in all the time, it would not start.

The Ambassador had arranged suitable clothing for James so as not to cause the child any undue harm, late in the afternoon a team of dressers, and beauty consultants descended on them to get them ready. The adults were taken away to get ready as was Annabel, leaving James alone with a a rather suave looking gentleman who took James to his room.

" Well young man lets get you ready to meet the Ambassadors guests shall we " he said

"Ok" said James shyly

Amber smiled pleasantly at the neat but slightly overweight woman behind the desk noticing her name tag read Monica. The front desk clerk quickly typed on the keyboard to retrieve the information from her workstation.

“I see Mr. Rienholt is poolside with the Birds. Are you familiar with the hotel?” The front desk clerk asked.

“No, this my first visit.”

“Diego will escort you. Diego, please escort the lady to cabana 15. Have a pleasant day Miss.”

“Thank you, Monica.”

The PI company that was hired was called Moriarty Investigations, all their operatives had worked for various government Intelligence agencies over the years and they had equipment equal to and some times even better than government agents.

The Head of company was told what was required and a contract was drawn up and signed, the Moriarty company also provided top level undercover security so would also ensure the safety of James and his mother 24/7 until the case was dealt with.
