Brandy leads my out of her place dressed and to her car. I’m clutching her hand until we get there and she smiles and blushes a bit and opens the car door for me. I get in and try to sit and slide into the seat even though I’m not wearing a skirt, it just seems right to try and do it like that. It’s not really that skirt locking my legs together thing but something like it.

“Found you ya fucking faggot.” Cliffs hand was wrapped around the back of my neck and was pressing me into the hallways clean gyp-rock wall. I can smell the dirt on him, the unwashed smell of body odor and the releasing of the toxic garbage in his system out through his skin. There’s whiskey on his breath and it mixes with the reeking choking smell of rotting teeth.

Garia's second session in the 'gym' brings further advances but Keren begins to regret participating. On their return Terys introduces a visitor and makes a timely suggestion that might ease the chaos that seems to surround Garia wherever she goes.

My head snaps back as the gloved fist lashes out catching me on the right cheekbone. My head snaps back into the stripped box spring mounted on the wall like a torture rack.

“Fucking A-Rab witch! You’re going to burn in hell for your consorting with the devil!”

The evening's council meeting see the release of telescopes and paper and discussion of several other subjects. Later, Jenet discloses a near-embarrassing moment and Garia relives a strange memory.
