I just felt like I had to tell this rather than just put it behind me. This last week we buried my next to oldest brother in Arlington National Cemetery. Weather put a monkey wrench in things, no horse-drawn caisson or honor guard marching along side. He did receive a 21 gun salute and there was an honor guard graveside. It was kind of eerie, the blanket of snow covering everything. The cemetery was closed to normal traffic and the snow muted what sound there was. It was a very solemn ceremony.

Erin is not feeling very well today, and we have had some bills pop up that had to be paid right then and there. Everybody here in the inner workings of this wonderful site gets thrown a little off when this happens, and Erin does whatever she can to move money around so that we are taken care of.

They have such a weak hold on their own sex, someone else changes and they become fanatical. Most of us have read the lies and disinformation spewed forth as research, medical and scientific studies. Which is basically no research and a repeat of flawed data gleaned from newspapers or other sources. All from those who have never researched or met anyone transgendered but are a self proclaimed authority on all things mental and physical pertaining to those who are trans.

I just looked at my account and I am nearly at 2 years of being a member on this site and it shocked me for a second.
I love this site and the people that support it.

I've just read and fallen in love with Bob Arnold's Zapped. Unfortunately the last few chapters seem to be missing.

There is a comment that the remaining chapters are on his stardust site, however the site is under construction. Is the site expected to come back up, or does anyone know where I can find the final chapters?

I'd already sent a New Year greeting to everyone here but it seems to have gone awry.

I'm looking for a story how about I believe John Carter and Mars. It starts off for the relative (I believe a nephew) coming to read the journals of relative (I believe a uncle), about his fantastic life on another planet, there is something about running into aliens and is put into an arena to fight, heard about one of these aliens helping him but she keeps getting branded for making mistakes. There is also a princess handsome bad people chasing them around.

If anybody has any ideas please let me know and thank you so much.

Well here we are, the eve before Christmas, time for me to wish one and all the very best for this festive period.

I just finished reading "Homesick" by Trismegistus Shandy. I'm surprised at the few reads this story attracted. While it's a bit different from other stories here, it's a well written tale in a "Twilight Zone" kind of way. I almost expected Rod Serling type epilogue.

All three parts are posted, so if you like to wait for stories to be complete, this one is. If you haven't read it, I'd highly recommend it.

There don't seem to be any posts from within the past two months, which is a bit surprising. Have the forums fallen out of use, or am I just reading them wrong?

Well, it's been a mild-ish day hereabouts, I had a short walk earlier around the nearest town to me (I live 10km from Sheffield Centre but less than 2 from Dronfield and 9 from Chesterfield even if my address is Sheffield!)

Then I set to at the KB and after a full ten hours, i've completed the final part of 1902 Sunbeam Safety! I'm pretty happy with it, it would have been so easy to have spun it out but that was never my intention with this. I'll get it edited and so on and you should be able to read it over the holiday.

I live about 75 miles north of Tampa, Florida and we have had rain since about 3 am, now at 7 pm we have had about 11 or 12 inches depending on how I read my make shift rain gage.

So there was this story I read awhile back and I’m trying to find it again. It was about a trans kid who comes from a family of mechanics and does something drastic to keep from developing during puberty. They repair an old Camper and upon graduating they pack up and move cross country.

The story is hard to find because while I know it is in a medevil\fantasy setting, and may be incomplete

MC is like in most stories the butt of many jokes by peers

there is a 'searching' that takes place at a festival of some kind

The local cause of trouble is a boy who while high-born, isn't as highup the chain as he believes and his father had become tired with bailing him out and is taken as a sqire to a knight.

The chosen have to travel, and MC discovers they have magic and a warrior?

Very much so i`m afraid, nice bright morning. Bit of frost so I was keeping to busier clear roads and looking out for ice on the road. Next minute i'm accelerating into an unstoppable off on some black ice!

Well to cut a long story short my right wrist took a whack and currently it's very painful to even hit a key on the phone! Which is a double blow as I had intended getting on with Gaby this evening ready to release tomorrow. Not sure what i`ve done, don't. Think it's broken but it's at least a bad sprain so things may be put back a bit.

I’m looking for a story about a were wolf where the father was a blacksmith who made custom knives..... wish I could remember more. I think it’s set on the west cost of the US but I am not really sure. TIA.

I for one have much to be thankful for - family and friends most of all. Those of us who have transitioned know just how incredible it is to realize that someone can really love you no matter who you are or how you present yourself to the world.

I wake up every morning astonished at the fact that my family and many of my friends are still here with me. My life is truly blessed in many ways - why, I have no reason. But I am truly thankful for all that I have.
