Barbie Lee has graciously allowed me to edit and post her new story, "Jessica Rabbit." It was originally posted last week at Fictionmania and, having read it, I felt it deserved to be here with so many other great stories.

I have corresponded with Barbie several times since then, doing the edit and making sure I would be able to do the story justice and abide by Barbie's requests that certain parts of the story remained unchanged regarding coloqualisms and other things. We have exchanged several emails and I believe I got it right.

I guess I will never understand the denizens of this site. "Severance Pay", has in my opinion ALL the elements that would make most of you go goo goo, yet the kudo count is low! How come?

I can see Authors not being impressed with my writing but this is beyond the pale.

I haven't posted anything here for a while, but I haven't been idle. I've finished several first drafts recently, and would like to get feedback on them from beta readers before I do final drafts and post them here, or offer them for sale on Smashwords and the Kindle store.

Well, I decided to try to finish one! Those that know me know my muse takes a vacation whenever I ask her for anything.

I've just finished the story entry's last chapters. I will be continuing the story by popular request and adding it into the stories I'm currently doing.

Sorry but I'm done for now. I'm tired of writing. I write for a bit but as the story goes along I get bored with it. Sorry to anyone who was counting on me to finish things but I don't want to finish a thing anymore.

Well, I have a quandary, and I need opinions.

See, I was thinking about publishing some stuff on Kindle, but I am conflicted as to what I should publish.

So here are the choices:

Are you an Alien? During a surprising encounter with a rather highly placed member of my faith last night, he made the observation that the reason I like to write about "good aliens", is that I feel like an alien. I immediately knew this to be true, though it is doubtful that the joy of writing stories that have good aliens will grow tiresome.

What ever happened to CrystalHall?
No additions or updates since April.
I always enjoy the Whateley stories.

Finding it hard to complete a sentence in a review, never mind contribute any new fiction. It's a long-standing struggle with bureaucracy thing.

I am pleased to announce the release of my new book "Unreachable". It may be my best story yet and considering God Bless the Child and Finding Jenny, I think that is saying something. There isn't the religious overtones like there were in Wrestling Against Myself, so it should appeal to all.

Well, I am compiling my list of stories I have written that are suitable for inclusion in an anthology to be published on Amazon or some other publisher in both paper and eBook format.

I am stuck once again on the way something should be written.

In trying to write the next chapter of Get A Life, I am in a bit of a quandry as to how I should write this:

In a blatant attempt to double the number of my readers to four, and still basking in the afterglow of completing SNAFU - at least in its first version (I want to do a full edit when I have time)- I'm inviting readers to inform me which of my outstanding serials - not including Bike - they would like me to write another episode.

I thought I would have part 4 of 'Summer Girl' up, but I got hit by a case of REAL LIFE. I hope this week I'll post it (when I finish my homework and chores), so I'll try...

The new novel is at the editors. I would like to publish it by Thursday, but you know how things go with editors.

I just sat down and re-read a bookmarked story - Aunt Arethusa's Legacy - and realized that Ricky hadn't posted in several years, after being a rather frequent poster.

Any word from anyone?

I was going through 'My Stories' list today. I do it every day to see if anyone has left a comment. Anyway, I noticed the very poor reception that two of my stories received: Five Love Stories en Brochette, and Bobbie and the Glass Ceiling. The later was about a golf tournament, and I can understand the lack of interest. Unfortunately for those who didn't read it, there was a tremendous amount of information there pertinent to the whole Cynthia Chronicles series. That story required quite a bit of research, and probably took six months to shape up. That's okay.

Trying to find a story I read several years ago. Mom wants son to get a haircut, son refuses. Mom makes a deal, if he can keep his hair off his collar for 30 days he can keep it. Son learns a variety of updos with his mom's help. But one evening he and his mom are seen at a drive-in by two of the really popular girls when he has his hair in a Gibson Girl style. They recuit him to help them get away from their abusive boyfriends.

More than six years ago I discovered BCTS. What a wonderful discovery it was. Because my CRS, I will probably forget to say anything about my sixth anniversary of being an official member of this wonderful place when the time rolls around a few weeks from now. Strike while the iron's hot. It will be six years near the end of this month that I tentively made my first official ventures as a participant here here. I've met some wonderful people. Unfortunately, too many are departed. Thank you everyone for your wonderful contributions. Thank you for reading and commenting on mine.
