... and so it all comes to an end. Not a perfectly happy ending, but not a very dark one either, at least not for Emma, and there are the bitter sweet memories.

I probably had a straight line down the side of my face, or the indentation of the back of my hand on my cheek. I bent down with difficulty and retrieved the mouse from the floor, its fall had probably woken me up.
