First let me say thank you to all who have commented on my entry from last night. I didn't really intend to bare my soul so much, it just sort of happened, but the response was very encouraging. I might need to consider a No BUI (Blogging Under the Influence) rule, however.

I'm only slightly tipsy this afternoon, so I should be safe. Hey, like Jimmy Buffet says, it's 5 o'clock somewhere.

I'm feeling a little philosophical tonight, so I thought I might try blogging some of it out. Forgive me if I ramble.

There are quite a few authors that have posted stories here at Big Closet Top Shelf that have posted stories over at Erin's new site Fictioneer!

I am the twin sister of Edeyn Blackeney. I arrived here at her home from the hospital and her computer was logged into this site, so I looked around. Apparently, she's known pretty well here.

I met with my boss this morning and we finally decided on a start date for my RLT to begin, so on the 27th of May, Catherine finally comes into her own...or at least begins to. The county Attorney is also on board in this and I have his backing as well.

I started a new blog, rather than replying to Gwen's latest, because I had some info that perhaps some of us haven't read.

The novel writing contest ended during that time my mom was in the hospital and I had no spare attention. Twice since then, I've sat down and constructed the polls needed for people to vote on the contest and twice Murphy ate my breakfast. It's been six months, the novel contest is over. Everybody that entered won. Sorry, I just don't have the steam; that locomotive left the station empty.

For anyone who's interested, I am having a great deal of trouble getting The Sight back on track.

The reason is, a couple of people decided to try ripping me a new one in the comments and it kind of took the wind out of my sails. Since then, I managed to produce one chapter, but it seems the muse was not amused and no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get it together.

Currently, there have been several comments about slavery and those states that have laws that are more tolerant of the trans-gendered in the United States Of America and Canada.

I am a Christian. I was raised a Southern Baptist. I am lucky that their dogma did not poison me. I believe that GOD LOVES us all and that HE will not oppose one that wants to correct their body to the gender that they want to be. If you are T.G. in anyway, God will accept you as you are.

bombs bursting in air... yeah, this is actually going on over my head as I write this - no, I'm not in a war zone, it's neighboring B***** College setting off a fireworks display to honor the graduating seniors. I've just reached a rather momentous decision in my life, which is why I've been rather distracted, lying rather low lately (is that a tongue twister?), trying to figure things out.

I would have liked to have responded to Stanman's blog, but I think there is more to it than that. As an author I've always written a story completely before posting it. The exception is Show Me The Money. I know that was a shameless plug, but that wasn't the point. All my stories were posted as a complete work, with the exception of Runway.

I just got off the phone with the Waldenbooks store manager. Between us we have set the date for the signing! It will be May 31st, which is a Saturday afternoon, from 2-4PM. See my previous blog entries for the location. All advertising has to be done by me, including some kind of poster they can hang in their window, explaining what, when, and where.

As I approach episode 300 of Falling Off A Bike, I think I'd like to take check on if readers still want me to continue posting them or to bring it to a conclusion.

I'm aware it's at best literature lite, but given its preparation is zero, I really do write them directly to the site, which sometimes shows.

I don't get the blues, I get the grays. Life seems colorless and little annoyances seem sharply defined because of contrast. The few joys in this state feel faded and evanescent and cause for more sadness because each one is small and fleeting.

I was reading a story, I thought was called "Rhapsody" and now I can not find it. I thought PB wrote it. "Hellllllppppp!", The young drama queen cried piteously. Anyhow it was about a Bass player in a band who dressed as a girl to hide out from bad guys.

I became aquainted with the Internet in 1980. Remember the amber screen, DOS, 720 kb flopies, and the 8088 chip? Oh, there had been been people messing about with tiny PCs before that but I never could see the point of it with their miniscule capabilities. I didn not want to mess with computers, I wanted to do something.

'Falling off a bike' started as an experience of cycling through a thunderstorm. Today, I cycled through another one, this time on a mountain bike, with some wet weather gear and mudguards on the bike.

Ah here we go, this is one of those lunatic rambles inspired, if that's anything like the word, by various 'conversations' with several different people. It's about identity and self perception and that big little three letter word, you know the one, it's every bloody where, whether you think about it or not. I mean what is it that sells and what do your average 14 year old boys think about every 3.5 seconds or something?

My posting for the next 3 chapters will be delayed as i am to reenter hospital tomorrow. I am experiencing significant discomfort from my surgery. I also have a severe infection in my bladder and kidneys. BLESSINGS TO ALL. I will return soon to post THE TRIAL part of my autobiographical story.

So, when I was talking about posting the pieces of this story I wrote as a sort of fanfic, The Violet Ajah, I was proud of the fact that I had actually gotten James Rigney's permission to write it, as well as the fact that he liked the first 4 chapters of it when I sent them to him. [NOTE: James Rigney is the real name of the author known as Robert Jordan]

That sounds kind of desperate, doesn't it? I'm not, really. Just sort of frustrated.

As many of you are aware, I have been undergoing some changes in the last year or more. This is due to the simple fact that I am transgendered...that is, a woman in a mans body. I am treating this as simply a mistake made at birth and I am undergoing constant therapy and medical intervention to correct the 'birth defect' I was born with.

Actually, it turned into pretty much a non-contest. It's okay. I know how daunting it must be to try to complete another writers story, and truthfully I didn't expect any entries, but I thought it'd be worth a try.

As from midnight tonight, Penny and I will be sallying forth. A seven hour ferry is not exactly as exotic as "night boat to Cairo" but then that's the wrong country anyway, however the idea's sound.

I'm posting this here, because I think that readers who might otherwise enjoy a particular story are skipping over it because they're making certain assumptions about it that miss an important point.

Today is a sad day, and I felt the need to get some of it out.

I have noticed that now many authors have started including a picture or cartoon/avatar with their stories and comments. Me, I find the addition to be very welcome. They often help to tell the story. I am glad that this has happened and I hope that it continues too.

You know...it is the same old same old here. That is why you are "dead" ...you can't grow...

I fully realize that this is not a 'get out of jail, free' card, yet I feel as though I have just been, finally, given permission, not that I needed permission, to finally begin being the person I should always have been. I am ecstatic at the moment, and only waiting for the go ahead to begin my real life test.

I met a girl the other day and can not get her name off my mind. She's HalaMaksoud and a real mystery to me. Saying her name seems best when pronounced to the beat of Bedouin Drums. HalaMaksoud, HalaMaksoud, HalaMaksoud...just seems to become a chant. Can't you see Her/my hips shimy like...oooooh, mmmmm giggle.
