A panel truck pulls up. A handsome, clean cut young man gets out, walks beside the girl and begins talking to her. The girl obviously uneasy starts walking faster trying hard not to pay attention. The man follows and just as she starts to hurry he grabs her, covers her mouth and pulls her into the truck the back doors of which now stand open. Books and purse scatter.

The room was large, much larger than the tower looked coming up the driveway. There was the fireplace Darlene mentioned although Jenny hadn’t seen a chimney from the outside. A second well-lighted entrance opened at the back like the one she had come through, though the light was certainly odd, not something she could describe easily.

        As the sun crept up over the horizon, Steph and Lisa stood in front of the still-closed salon. Lisa, who had lost eleven pounds since February, was dressed in a pair of green and while cotton sweatpants that hadn't fit her since high school. She had steadily been losing around five pounds per month until May, when she'd gained five of them back. That fact was making her anxious and irritable, which was not lost on Steph, who was also wearing her old school colors.

Oprah’s over, Rikki Lake’s not on yet, and Dr. Phil depresses me. So I flick off the television.
I pick up a month-old "Us" magazine: Lindsey’s back in rehab, Paris is busted for DUI again, same old, same old. I throw it back on the table and wish I had something to do.

The suitcase oddly yielded clothes for a small boy and a dress the same size. They were musty but still good. Kirk tossed the washed clothes and curtains into the dryer, then sat repairing stuffed animals for the rest of the afternoon.

Michi considered the apparition above them. Regarding it for a time she realized there were two shadows present in the girl’s image where there should be one. Commanding them to separate she saw that one of the two was male! She waited to see what might come of her dictate but the two moved back together without incident. She had heard of such things although they were rare.

Looking over her shoulder, Christina saw that her uncle was busy in the back room. She temporarily deserted her post behind the counter and walked to the far corner of the store where Richard had gone. As she rounded the corner of the aisle, she felt two hands on her hips lift her up off the ground and deposit her onto the glass freezer case where ice cream and other frozen goods were kept.
"Maybe I can help you warm up," Richard flirted as he wrapped his arms around Christina's waist. He gave her a long kiss and she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

Synopsis: Terri begins to learn more about herself through a dream and discovers that her responsibility to herself extends past her hygiene.
 
 

“Ambassador, could you show us some of the scientific wonders while we are down there?” Tonya asked.
“I’ll show you what I can, Princess……. Some of our newer inventions, however, are still secret.”
“What are the ladies wearing now?” Marie asked.
“Pretty much whatever they please.”

Realizing that she had been laying on Richard, unconscious, she nervously sat up and checked herself. Her mind panicked. Did he feel her fake breasts? What about her jeans? Did he go exploring there? How could she let this happen, she shouted in her brain as her heart raced.
Feeling rough fingers on her chin, her face was directed back towards Richard's and the man pulled her into a long kiss. Closing her eyes, Christina parted her lips and relaxed.
"It's okay," Richard assured her. I don't mind that you fell asleep. It was rather nice holding you."

This is an absolute first - This chapter is getting posted here first! Don't get in too much of a tiz - Angharad threw down the gauntlet last night so I had to reply in like!. This will be going up on my site with 179 next week so for now consider yourselves spoilt!
