Hatter and Shade meet up with Terry at the coordinates several hours later. The ramp on the back of Rhino opens and they pull inside. Once they were loaded, Terry starts heading towards a property that Bart’s company owns. There was supposed to be a transport waiting for them there to take them back to New York.

Shade looks over towards Hatter, after securing his motorcycle “did you have some fun?”

Hatter had a big ole smile on her face, as she lifts her helmet off. She looks over towards Shade “oh yes! I even took pictures.” She hands the camera she used to Shade.

Nelson’s Raceway, New York:
Terry drives the rollback that was carrying Wraith’s prototype on it through the gates of the raceway. He heads down to the pit area he normally uses when he comes up to either race or test any of his vehicles. He felt at home at the raceway. It helped him overcome what had been done to him.

Jacked Up Part 15

I started out by searching through the drawers of the desk. I found a box of peppermints and a roll of fruit sweets. I had already understood that there would be no liquids in this room. There was a door to my left marked ‘Toilet’ and another that had ‘Kitchen’. I made myself comfortable in the chair and picked up the mouse. The chair arm had a hard surface so you could sit back and work the screen.

I am aware of MOND, for those of you who are as well, but I suppose I don't like the theory, so I decided to ignore it in this book. Author’s prerogative, I guess. In my defense, I’ve been watching some lectures from the Royal Institute lately, and maybe it’s gotten me thinking a bit more – sideways?

I have been enjoying some documentaries on gravity also. They were heavy.

John and Marc got busy maneuvering the ship to a position where we were in line to reconnect with the command center and downstairs section. I wasn't sure I liked the idea, but it seemed to be the only choice, under the circumstances.

Mama was monitoring Amos’ memories while our ship accelerated slightly and drew alongside. At the same time, Daddy was monitoring her very closely, and I think he was ready to pull the plug if anything should go awry. So was I.

“What's happening, Bernie?” Daddy asked.

“Nothing, Vern. All I see happening is a celebration. Some type of praise for the ‘Emperor.’”

Cora wakes-up early and stare up at the ceiling in her hotel room. She couldn’t believe she was in New York. She went to the address that Katie gave her and met a charming young woman. She found out that the young woman happened to be Rachel’s roommate and that she had
just recently heard from her. According to the information she received, Rachel was due back later today.

Mouse was enjoying the drive back to New York. She woke up early and checked out before she had to. She could have extended her stay, but there were other things she wanted to do. A smile appears on her face as she thinks about the men she played against at the other casino.
They couldn’t believe a little ole girl like her could beat them. She walked away from that game with close to forty thousand dollars.

Jacked Up Part 11

I followed Maisie to a bedroom which was huge and very well equipped. She said that she would be back in time for me to get ready for dinner but all I need to do now was have a good bath which she had already drawn, then pop into bed and have a good sleep as she was sure that I had already had a full day.

Jacked Up Part 10

Thursday evening I looked through my belongings. The bulk of my clothing was army supplied so that would not be a problem. The stuff I had brought with me added up to not much at all. I packed a bum-pack with my credentials and then a small back-pack with spare underwear, a tee shirt and a few other light items.

Mouse checks into the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. She informed her Aunt Anika that she was going to spend two nights in Atlantic City. She had booked a suite in the South Tower Apollo Ocean suite, which gave her a nice view of the ocean.

She walks over towards the huge window and moves the curtain aside to look out towards the ocean. She loved how clear the day was and spotted people out on the water, enjoying their sailboats and such.

Just before Sara boards the yacht, she stops and yells up towards the deck “ahoy! Permission to come abroad?”

Ralph was checking the deck out when he heard a female voice. He had seen white smoke down on the pier and that had piqued his attention. He looks down and spots a young, short black hair woman wearing some sort of form-fitting bodysuit.

“Who are you and why are you here?” He walks down towards the deck.

“I’m Sara Jefferson and I have a message for Casey Hollander and her wife, from her uncle Bounty.” Sara tries to breathe easy with her broken ribs.

Jack takes out a bottle of Irish whiskey he brought with him from home and pours it into a custom-made crystal glass. He takes a sip from the glass as he looks out the big bay window in his office. He was worried about Cheshire and his girls. The men that came with Amy had managed to stop the bleeding and they were resting in their bedrooms.

Mouse stretches as she is slowly wakeing-up. She looks towards the window in the bedroom she slept in last night. She enjoyed the Broadway show she went and saw last night. She just lay there and stares up at the ceiling. She was trying to motivate herself to get out of bed. She lays there for a few more minutes, before getting up and slipping her house robe on.

She walks into the kitchen and looks through the cabinets. She wanted to see what breakfast items her uncle had the place stock with. She spotted some of her favorites from home and some American coffee as well.

Leslie covers up a yawn as she walks into the master bedroom. She spots Charlotte and Casey snuggled up together in bed. A smile appears on her face, as she looks at her wife and their newest wife.

She walks over to the small refrigerator in the room and grabs a pineapple and orange juice mixed juice bottle. She’s been up all night, translating some of the pages from the book she copied yesterday with her cellphone.

Of course, we didn’t just knock on doors and ask if there was a strange person living there. We used drones from a distance to see the normal days for each house. We were able to eliminate about forty this way, the residents being larger groups were seen together and touching.

Since he has her attention, he’s finally able to come out to her about his being transgender. She’s not happy and is convinced it’s The Wizard’s doing. Myrtle is convinced she can take The Wizard out. Tom confronts his parents about what caused their animosity. They didn’t read the instructions!
