Dear reader: To describe much of anything about the story's content would be removing what little suspense I can manage to create. Instead, I'll admit to being somewhat influenced by Daria in the previous story and influenced a good bit more for this one and the ones that come after. The only reason why most of my own high school experience was not drawn from is because I'm afraid you'd never believe me unless you've actually seen the inside of the school I went to.

Chapter 11

A couple of years after the twins were born, we were overjoyed to discover that I was pregnant again to Beverly and this time it was triplets-, two girls and a boy. My bio-prosthesis company was now doing excellent business and Beverly’s spaceship manufacturing business had expanded to Mars and Venus. Trade around the solar system had expanded logarithmically, and we thought all our problems were over.

“OMGdss! Shit!, shit, shit, shit!” I repeat over and over as I rush through the trailer hopping into a colder than I like shower and get f-ing shampoo in my eyes and then drying off and running into my room and start to delve through my meager closet.

Of COURSE, SHE is there and with every choice I make she’s going.
“Nope, I don’t think so, too flirty, too dowdy, too butch….”

She is having waaay too much FUN with this.

I did not know how to break the news to my daughter, her first pet, a kitten, would have to be put down.

This wasn’t actually the first time nanites had been a terrorist threat - some Islam terrorist group had been trying to release a variation of GDD.
All it did was convert people into corpses. By eating their brains. Nanozombies. Urgh…

They wiped out the threat with massive a massive EMP - electro-magnetic pulse. Huge success. Nanobots all wiped out. No deaths. Pretty much a first for the US. *giggle*

After GDD, they tried the EMP solution.
