Abby Normal
by Jennifer Brock
In the movie Young Frankenstein, there's a scene where Igor (that's "Eye-gor") makes an error and the brain that Dr. Frankenstein (that's "Fronkensteen") uses in the monster is not the one Igor had been sent to collect. Instead of the brain of brilliant scientist Hans Delbruck, he says he brought the brain that had been labeled "Abby Normal." This story takes the premise "What if Igor wasn't lying?" This is the story of Abby Normal, and what happened to her brain. (Note that although inspired by a comic take on Frankenstein, this story uses elements from several adaptations, and is a more serious take on the subject matter.) |

Too Good to be True
by Maeryn Lamonte
Michael’s new apartment is too good to be true. Immense, beautifully furnished and cheaper than his last place.
Sometimes when fortune smiles you smile back and accept what it offers you. Other times, with Halloween just round the corner and a killer on the loose, it might have been as well to ask a few questions first…

Boring! That is how I would describe the school days at Harriet Miller High School. I swear my teacher's had taken their teaching style from watching Ben Stein's character on "The Wonder Years" My girlfriend Liza and I would spend our time passing notes to each other and still managed to get every single thing our teacher said. It was like this in nearly every class. We both decided that we needed to liven things up, so we would pull out a Fart machine and start letting it go off at different times.
Oww!!

Think electrolysis doesn't hurt. Think again.
La Suite Danse Macabre
Mrs. Torre, Erica, and Vanessa give Danny a ride to school. The girls plan to tease him gently about Danielle’s début the previous year, but discover that his memories of the ensuing events are still painful.
The boy continues to tell his story and things begin to go south for the friends.
A Journey Off The Beaten Path
by Barbara Lynn Terry
(From Part 3)
“You are not facing this alone. Just accept that I am coming with you.”
“Th…thank you.”
“Now, do you have any idea where to start?”
“If this is connected with Alex, we need to go to the house he lived in.”
“What a way to spend Halloween. Looking for a ghost.”
“Up to you, you can sit this out, I wont think the less of you.”
“Not on your life. Tonight, we go ghost-busting.”
(Part 4)
The Soul of Man
Jaye Michael
They’re out there, somewhere beyond the light. I can feel them, waiting for me to be alone; waiting to…
Got to run, hide. Can’t let them get me. But where? Where can I go? And how long will it be before they don’t care about other people seeing them?
The boy begins to tell Charlotte his story of the trouble his friends dragged him into over Halloween
Choices (part 3)
(from part 2)
Finally, I got out of my dress, and slipped into one of my new nightgowns, and went to bed. I slept fitfully. I had no clue then that this nightmare had just begun, and soon my fellow students would have their turn facing this horror. The worst was yet to come…..
(part 3)
A boy gets dragged into an unfortunate situation due to his friends fooling around.
Are We There Yet?
By BillieBob

“Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?” ( Read the story to find out)
No warm fuzzy creatures were harmed in creating this!
Who said a Halloween story had to be scary? TISSUE ALERT!!!
(from part 1)
“Now I have a serious question. Have you ever told anybody before me?”
“I…I only ever told one other person.”
“Good. Lets start with him then.”
“We can’t. He was a friend of my brothers, but …“
“But what? Why can’t we see him?“
“He died last year….”
Part 2
What do you do when you discover your new house is haunted by a transgendered ghost?

A MIRACLE LOST — A MIRACLE REGAINED
BY: RAMI
A Miracle Lost — A Miracle regained recounts the events Of Halloween Night 2010, when a young girl, who had formerly been a boy, reverts to his old self, because of horrifying events, and then through a new miracle and the assistance of an ancient hero who is commanded back into existence regains her lost femininity.
Can there be a happy ending for a zombie? Is such a thing possible? Will a Scary Codmother…er, Fairy Godmother, appear? Or is that just wishful thinking?

La Suite Danse Macabre
Danny Wiseborough is Vanessa Torre’s boyfriend and a gifted violinist. Although his technique and talent are a quantum leap beyond those of everyone else, he tends to suffer from very serious stagefright. Unfortunately, Danny has not been able to overcome his performance anxiety by any conventional therapy. However, the “treatment” that has twice helped him to face it, has not been entirely to his liking.

“Damn it, Heath, try to catch the ball, don’t run away from it,” Dan Waters scolded his three year old son. “You’ve never seen DJ run away from the soccer ball! Now get the ball and kick it back to me.”
Heath hated being compared to his big two year older brother. DJ had two favorite things in life, sports and teasing his sissy little brother DJ was the apple of their father’s eye. He was good at sports and not afraid to try anything.
Heath struggled to hold back the tears as he retrieved the ball.
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I brooded weak and weary
Some demonic cloud the likes of which I’d never seen before
All at once took shape before me, making all my soul implore me
“Flee this evil dark and stormy, quit the room, go out the door!”
Yet it moved so that I could not leave the room, or reach the door
I could but stare and nothing more
