Chapter 30

Wedding one.

Yeah wedding one.

I wanted this as much as I want the big one and I had made a call into The Base and after some talking and some explaining with a few people. The base Chaplin is pulling into my yard and he’s meeting with Brandon and Ryan. I head to get dressed and into my very best as I see some RCMP cars pulling in.

Another shower and strong coffee. And I use my Veet to get extra smooth and then it’s the lingerie…Okay I might be insane for getting into this knowing I’m going to change out of it so shortly anyway.

McKenzie is enjoying the park when he sees StacyLyn with her family on the trail ahead. Will she out him or be nice?

The Tipsters List has to be completed. The Invitations have to be delivered. Christine and Astrid’s party’s only a few days away. Is the village ready for all the excitement?

Chapter 17 — They’re under Starter’s orders!

A sensitive boy is gently asked to crossdress to allow his mom to go on an 'all-girls' minivacation to a National Park. Soon after arriving at the hotel McKenzie is read by a girl who gives him a mixed message. The park is a big place and he hopes he can avoid her for the rest of the trip. Will McKenzie be able to pass as a girl when out hiking?

The first group of Runners and Riders having been listed, Christine wants to get on with the Invitation that they'll receive. That way, the party will definitely go ahead, then it's only a question of how many people to come?

Astrid has had a wonderful afternoon with Heidi. Christopher, likewise, with Bev. Armed with ‘information’, both aim for home at the end of the day and Christine prepares to explain her plan in detail to Andy.

There are some explicit details contained early on in this chapter, so, though it’s mild, there’s a need for CAUTION.

Chapter 14 — The plot is hatched!

I looked over at the beautiful woman sharing my truck’s bench seat. Who was she, and why did I feel so connected with her? The streetlights glow and the flashes of lightning showed a woman who I’d guess was somewhere in her early-to-mid-thirties, with an athletic, slender frame and dark blonde hair. All she wore was her “wrap,” but as I looked at her in the seat, it covered her like a dress of finest silk, elegant and stylish.

Elisabette smiled and looked at me. “I confuse you, don’t I, Emily?”

Three hours later.

We had somehow gone through traffic and to the police department all the while being very amorous….and we were touching and kissing each other even through me “Binging.” through the elevators.

I think Brandy is in her higher functioning happy mode.

That was a joke.

I like that she Bings with me.

It’s odd that such a small thing means so much to me emotionally.

I laughed. “Hey, I haven’t been down to your office since Homecoming! I gave up trying to stay out of people’s way though. When you try to be nice to everyone someone inevitably thinks you’re up to something.”

Chapter 7: Starting Camp

I’m very afraid. I get the feeling that while I scored a rather easy win over Thomas, the true enemy has stepped up their game. Assuming that Thomas was just the agent of the enemy, rather than the enemy itself, I have several questions.

Are we still dealing with an agent, or could we be facing the true enemy this time? How much power does the enemy have? What are we going to face this time? And then, there’s the worst question. If they’ve gone from possession to murder, where will they strike next? How can I protect those I love? What have I stepped in?
