I know we have some artists and aspiring artists here, so I wanted to afford you the opportunity to get this free book on drawing manga style stuff. I was just looking around on the site tonight and found, "The Fairy King", by Wanda Cunningham. Hoping to find more work by her I went to her page and it seems like the last work from her was around 2009. Then I went to the Memorial Page and she is not there. Sigh.

I do wish that she would publish more of her work here. The Fairy King was so good. Wanda, if you are out there ...

Hello everyone out there, this isn't less blog but more a question. I'm a very active woman and I'm missing doing any kind of sports. I'm in the fifth week since my OP now and I feel getting that itch more and more. I need to do some workout. I can't do the usual stuff I do, since those are sports which would not be advisable to do so soon after that surgery, like cycling, sports climbing, inline skating or diving.
But I also need to do some less strenous sports to get back into shape again and getting my fitness back. I can't just lounge around.

It pleases me to no end to see the success some Big Closet authors are having selling their work online.

After my group therapy session, I stopped at a local mall and looked around, including a walk through the bookstore, and I came across a book called "623 stories you can write". I took a peek inside, and it had story titles or questions like "you're an astronaut - describe one day in your life", or "describe the worst Thanksgiving day dinner ever".

I forgot to get the name of the authors, but I'm sure someone could find the book if they were interested in writing but have trouble finding good ideas.

I need someone who can develop a few web pages for me and I'm willing to pay someone to do it. I need a really good author's web page and another one that is to remain secret. I've tried to do it with Wix, but that leaves me wanting. I know what I want, I just don't have the tools or knowledge to do so. Please send links to pages you've developed so I can see your work and prices. Thanks.

So, recently someone expressed interest in my stories, in editing them, and giving me advice on how to publish them. Those published will likely be Kindle or something like it, but I do want to publish a "dead tree" book just for my own personal satisfaction. That someone would show interest in my stories is a great surprise to me.

I just spent 2 week in the Hospital . On April 12 I was working outside cutting some branches to get them higher from the fence and the bow saw popped back sending me off balance and off the ladder . I broke my left leg at the ankle about as bad as you can get the EMT's said a limb treating injury . The bones from my leg and ankle were outside the skin (lots of blood) a 45 minute ride to trauma center the test after test and surgery for 3 hours starting at 5 pm . I had a second surgery on April 25 again 3 or 4 hours .

This caught my eye on the BBC news website: a bridal shop in Japan has discovered a demand for bridal photo shoots - for men. I thought, hey, that looks like the germ of a good story, should anyone want it!

Hi. Thanks to everyone reading Atalanta's story. I've downloaded several pics that I use as inspiration writing Atalanta. I though it might be fun to post a pic in a story but I know enough to be dangerous doing that. Along that same venue I have about seven pics that I feel displays her energy well.

I know pics can be a resource hog so I wanted to if I do place a picture that it not use a lot of bandwidth. None are copyrighted as far as I know. There is no watermark. I think there are royalty free too.

As some of my regular readers know, I have always been interested in alternate universes.

Well, it looks like the anniversary of joining the site passed me by without me noticing. I've now been a member for three years and six days and let me just say I'm glad I did wind up joining the site as is often the first place I visit when I first sit down at my computer. The community is welcome and inviting and the atmosphere is unparalleled. I'd just like to add Kudos to Erin and crew for their continued work in keeping the site up and running and for maintaining said atmosphere! :D

It has been almost three years since my uncle passed away.He would have been so proud to be a great great uncle but I know he is watching down on my daughter and will make sure that she is a great mom, not a day goes by that I don't miss him and wish he was here especially when I'm having a computer problem or just need a listening ear. I know he is watching over all of us and I'm glad he is with his mother they both are making sure everything goes well for my daughter.
