Hi, my name is Tanya. Tanyalynn was my name a long time ago on Storysite, and the 51- well, a girl never reveals her age. I am a m2f ts, who has felt like I am in the wrong body, but with some truly heavy issues. I do write sometimes as an outlet, a chance to fantasize about how my life might have gone, although I did a couple of more action oriented stories, a mystery, and a superhero story on Storysite. I can also be influenced by movies (see "The Girl" on Storysite, inspired by the Bruce Willis movie "The Kid"). I think that was my favorite story.

Well i have come to a decision, think its about time to post a story idea going on in my head.
Well this story would involve a Popular Anime/Collectable Card Game Yu-Gi-Oh, but not set in the actual Universe of the game, but where in our future where the card game has become real as the anime.

The Problem is that do i start it in the future where the hero/ine is there already. Or have it where the main hero/ine Come from the present and end up in this future

Ha! I knew that would bring the geeks in! Sorry, though. This isn't about computer failure, it's about societal failure.

It's me again.

Having seen what a fantastic response you all gave me for my last blog (which is here if you didn't catch it) and realising that it's just the tip of the iceberg, I wanted to expand upon what I'd written for my new website.

There was a time I suspected I might have Asperger's Syndrome. Then I read a book on it and realized I didn't. Such fun! (What I think I do have is hypochondria.)

Anyway, I found this test. I wasn't looking for it. In fact I could have used this around 3 years ago. It would have saved me reading that stupid book. But, I'm very good at finding things I wasn't looking for. Or at least not recently.

I was listening to Radio 5 live tonight here in the UK, on the way home from work.

They were talking about mixed metaphors and I had a chortle at some of the ones people could remember.

Bloody nuisance though. The lump in my shoulder where the broken ends overlap snags my bra strap. Gonna have to explain this to the orthopedic consultant. (I'll probably have to take a bra into his clinic to demonstrate.)

I saw this pop up in my 'Recommended' list on YouTube, and couldn't resist sharing it. I know we're generally not car nuts here, but this ain't an ordinary "car" (and I use the term tentatively)...

Introducing the Ferdinand GT3 RS. It is an Austrian vehicle (currently on show in the Lentos Museum of Art, in Linz, Austria) built with an "ultra light construction", and all "unnecessary" components have been removed. As a result, it weighs less than 100kg, has zero emissions, and is completely silent.

So what's the catch? Well, one of the "unnecessary" components was the engine...

Ok so my whole delay thing is no longer a problem. It turns out that my cold was some kind of twenty four hour thing and its practically gone now. I'm busy writing chapter eleven and I should have it, and chapter twelve, up in a few days.

PS: I think this story might be longer than I originally thought. I'm not sure yet but its definitely looking like it.

Chapter 17 is posted. Finally we get to some action in this chapter. I hope you like it. There is the re-match between Evrat and Hikaru as hinted and promised earlier in the story here. Richard does explain himself why he wanted to go against four knights in this self-defense demonstration match. As stated in this chapter, this is to make sure the Outside Helpers know how to defend themselves if they have to. The Regional meeting does take place towards the end of the chapter.

So, this is posted early again as I am going up to deal with my dead MIL's house yet again. So another long day ahead. You all have a fun read and think of me while I am cleaning and sorting more paper.

This is a followup blog to my last one, "I Dunno What I'm Gonna Do."

Well, I'm trying to get a week of vacation time organized at work near the end of October to go home for a week. While there, me and my parents will sit down and talk through the advantages and disadvantages of moving back to see what can be done, and I'll come out to my dad, since that HAS to be done -- and him if not okay with it then at least accepting of it -- before I'll really consider moving back.

I've been working on this over today and would be really grateful if some of you would mind giving it a look over and let me know whether I've done it justice. Click here
