I've been working slowly on a story over at Fiction Branches on Sapphire's Place. I had the basic idea for this sci-fi story universe some time ago, and I decided I could shoehorn it into the "You Are What You Wish" storyline, and then take steps to minimize the magic wishing stone's impact on my chosen storyline.

Rikki’s hands wrapped around her waist as she slid towards him Her skirts brushed against his knees while her bodice inadvertently brushed against his chest. Her arms slid around his neck for support as the scent of her hair filled his nostrils with vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. Instead of easing her to the ground, he turned with her in his arms and deposited her on the top step of the carriage.

One of the big issues of traveling is that sometimes my only access to BigCloset is via a PDA mobile phone. When I'm in 3G area, the mainpage isn't too bad to download, but when in GPRS it does seem to take its time, especially with all the graphics and formatting.

One thing that some sites do is implement a mobile version which formats better for these devices.

My Mother Has Died

My mother passed away yesterday evening in the hospice. My father, my wife, and I were in attendance at the time. Her last couple of days were so hard, that it's truly a relief to see her at peace at last. Now, the focus turns to my father. We need to keep him busy, and engaged, and dealing with the outside world.

While she was doing my face, Margo was working on my hair; with some curling tongs she put a slight curl on my fringe at the front and bottom of my hair. Lesley finished off my eyes with black mascara before outling my lips with a deep purple lip liner and then filling in the remainder of my lips with a pale lilac lipstick. Finished with my face both girls let me have a look at their creation. Looking back in the mirror was a very attractive seventeen year old–in fact I even fancied myself!

At that time my name was Craig Adams; I was born in 1971 in a small town just under 10 miles from Glasgow. In my years at Primary school I was very much a loner and I struggled to make friends.
