So, someone talked me out of Islam, then my nose ring, and my second piercing in my ear, and my Hijab, and I wanted a tattoo but can't and now I wonder what will be left when I am made suitable? Doesn't anyone want to know me, or do I have to be just like "them"? Is this too much to ask? Am I simply a slave to others, is this enough, will they whip me and chain me too?

Perhaps about 10 years ago, there was a multi Chapter TG story that was set somewhere East of Sacramento. I've looked at the map to refresh my memory, but no joy. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

So, I do apologize for my silence as of late, but I have a good reason for that. In my previous blog I mentioned that I was working directed (mandatory) overtime and, well, I have been working fifty hour work weeks for the last three weeks straight. No word on whether or not I will be working it again this week so I cannot say whether you'll be seeing another serial part this coming Saturday or Sunday. So, I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I am starting the outline of a story and I am curious about characters names. This is set in a fictional world where women are in control and has always been. Its around a 100,000 years from now and its almost inconceivable that men were ever in charge. Women have developed a power long ago to overpower men and gained control. Theres rumor's that men were dominant but its mostly dismissed as impossible

I did a lot of writing on _Angel of Earth_ the past couple of days, but it was mostly rough stuff, just getting basic ideas down.

I failed (Passed?) the flu test, so it's not that. (Unlikely, since I've had this year's shot, but possible.) They also tested me for Covid-19, just in case. That result won't be in for a couple of days.

(Yes, I am one of those people who welcomes the Christmas season the day after Halloween)

a while back I wrote a story called "Rose the Bunny", inspired by a conversation I had on Discord with Rosey Redd. after it was published, she left the comment, "OH god, what did I do? *hides*"

I thought she was joking but since then she's all but vanished.

So if you're out there, Rosey Redd, I'm sorry, and come back.

Having just reread Susan Brown's "ORPHAN", I was reminded of another story, in which tennis is a part.

If memory serves, the MC begins a new school, I think all goes well until after the Christmas break, when the weather begins to get warmer, the sports curriculum changes and one of the sports that is played in spring is Tennis.

I am 99.9% certain that this story was a single post (SOLO), and that it is an older story

and this story is different as the MC is a diary

Mother finds her child's diary, after child's death, and reads last few entrys

mother adds last entry to the diary, while the diary is asking 'What are you doing?'

I do remember that there is an image in this story, it is of a yellow Post-It Note™®, although I can't remember what was written on it

well I suppose this late in October that's only to be expected!

In November 2007 I posted a story here called THIS QUINTESSENCE OF DUST. It was my 4th or 5rh work of transgender fiction but it was the first one of any length, and the first I worked really hard on trying to create credible well-rounded characters that I hoped the reader could empathize with. And it was a challenge for me because I wanted them to be a pair of normal cisgender guys who were intelligent and more or less decent and not just buffoonish caricatures. In a way my creating them was my attempt to grow beyond my often misadrist attitudes toward males.

I haven't posted a new picture of a dormouse for a while, this was one that escaped while one of my colleagues was checking a nesting tube and took refuge in a tree. The photo was taken with my phone and I have tried to enlarge it.

X the Last Woman

I was thinking of writing a reverse version of Y the Last Man. In the series and the book (graphic novel) the women are pretty screwed , Most of the world's infrastructure is still kept running by men. In a prophetic line about truck drivers the new president says that the country was run on trucks delivering things. She says only 5% of truck drivers are women. (there is a shortage of truck drivers currently in a few countries since covid) A dam breaks and floods towns as there is no one to fix it. Power is off etc.

I hope to start posting the chapters of Angel of Earth next week. In the meantime, here is some music I use for inspiration in writing the Malak stories:
