Jackie tells Amy. The Furniture.

The letter arrives. ~o~O~o~ A plan is hatched. ~o~O~o~ A week long test for the circuit. ~o~O~o~ A visit with the Eagles. A gun shot, and a chase.

Chapter 1- The Boy Next Door

--- Alexis, December 23rd, 2022. 7:53 AM ---

“Class,” our teacher’s voice somehow managed to break through the chaos and anarchy that is an elementary school classroom the day before Christmas vacation. “Before we begin, I’d like to announce our new transfer student, Gabriel Morris.”

The rest of the room started up in hushed whispers, and even I couldn’t help it.

“Who moves at this time of year?” I had asked the question quietly and rhetorically, only to get an answer back anyway.

“Seriously?”

Amber part 3

9th grade came and so did Farmington North High school. Back to the bottom of the food chain again. Being I hung with the wolf pack things didn't go to bad for me. One problem was gym, as I had to take ½ semester in 9th grade and another in 10th. By the grace of god or just dumb luck I had gym class with Marsha, Kate, and Sidney from the wolf pack. I secured my gym locker at the very end by the wall. With Marsha right next to me. I learned to change quickly and shower quicker yet. I made it through gym class.

Amber part 2

Mom and Dad supported me and said.” Mike is gone Mom She is now Amber she is a happy child again.”
Grandma begrudgingly accepted it. She had to or loose a grandchild.

My name is Dr. Amber Michelle Reid, MD. And this is my story. Currently I am a family practice physician. Happily going on 20 yrs married to a great man, Gregory Paul Reid Jr. We have 7 daughters, Yep, 7 girls. One set of identical quadruplets who are 17 and one set of identical triplets who are 16. I am also a transgender. Yes, I was born a boy. That is the story I am going to tell.

Mary drove rather fast. She definitely did not obey the speed limit. I did not care much. I just wanted to escape. The car went up and down over hills. I took in the beautiful countryside while the sun was fully up by now. This was not going according to our plan. Finally Mary spoke while we were leaving our town.

“Where do you want to go?” she asked me.

“I am not sure. Just far away.” I replied.

“Okay. I suggest we go to the next town and find a restaurant to get something to eat. Then we will figure something out and talk strategy.” Mary said sadly.

Prologue- Those 3 Years

Even now, after three long years, her words were still engraved in my memory.

‘I’m gonna be honest with you,’ she had said to me that day. ‘It won’t always be easy. And it won’t always be fun and games. But if this is truly what you want, if this is truly what you believe you need, then it’ll all be worth it. You’ll always have my love and support. You only get one chance at life, you have to live it your way.’

And that’s how the best 3 years of my life began.

What happened. Finally at the resort.

Aunt Ginny and Uncle Paul upgraded us from their house to the Cliffside Suites. And, Aunt Ginny and Uncle Gaagii are here. Also there's a retreat here this weekend that is driving Uncle Paul crazy. What will they think of Ajie and me meditating at the bonfire?

We tell them. A talk with Vickie. Our anniversary

What did Jackie and Charlie think when I said, "I'm not a girl." And, what is Jackie going to think when I tell her what I'm feeling?

My mom says its a good idea sometimes to write down stuff, even if nobody else sees it. She says its a great way to get your thoughts organized, and boy do I need to do that, so here it goes.

My life just got turned upside down, and I'm still processing.

But I should begin at the beginning, as my English teacher says.

My name is James Micheal, I'm twelve, and I live in Sherwood Park, a small town just outside of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Sometimes, Tommy hated his sister. She was such a tease and he should have ignored her. At eleven years old, she was the younger of the two by just about a year and he should have been “man” about it and just walked away from her, but he didn’t. Tonya knew the teasing bothered him badly; so, she kept it up.

Chapter 110
Why would he do that? The books. Naainish.

I'd made a trip to the College of Engineering’s Dean’s office to pick up the books and paperwork for the two classes that I’ll be teaching. And I’d met Dr. O’Riley, who I’m going to stay as far away from as possible. The Dean’s secretary told me that he’s a womanizer.

When I finally looked at the books that I'd been given, I found that they were well out of date and would not be suitable as a college textbook. I called Dr. Joe, and he was coming over. And I was now on my way to the University’s Bookstore to see what they were selling to students.

Did Dr. Kilmer do this on purpose or is someone screwing with me?

The last barbecue. Can I do this?

It’s still Friday, and we’re at the resort, and it’s the last barbecue of the year. And there's more than the usual number of special guests here tonight.

When I went to walk, with Uncle Paul to the microphone, I’d grabbed Ajie's hand and started to pull her with me. She put the brakes on, and said, “Kai! What are you doing?”

Chapter 104
The gun range. A hike and Naainish.
A visit.

Yesterday had been an up and down day. We found that Peshlakai was still in the picture. But Uncle Gaagii told us that he knew of someone that could have “a talk” with Peshlakai if need be. We also found out that the guy that I was supposed to be a grad-assistant for, Dr. Kilmer, was about to go before a faculty review board.

We had used the mud pool to try to help both of us relax, and it worked. We also found out that next Friday would be the last barbecue of the year. That made us sad.

The Sunset was an excellent one, but the storms building to the west showed that we were going to get a thunderstorm or two. As the storms approached, I warned everyone to get off the cliff, and all but one guy did. He wanted one more picture. And that turned tragic. Lightning struck him, and he died.

Sunday morning when I woke up to the smell of breakfast cooking and Ajie looking down at me with that cute smile on her face. I smiled up at her, and said, “Morning lover.”

She bent down, kissed me, sat back, and said, “Good morning sweetheart.”

What next?
