May be tired but she's got the radar going and is watching for trouble. Surprised the police aren't even more concerned about a fake police car. They tend to take competition very seriously. Also surprised at the resources the bad guys are throwing at this. As I said a day or two ago. May be time to head to the family castle.

I suggested it as well about a week ago - as long as they had a genuine police escort to the airport or out of Hampshire Constabulary's patch (for fairly obvious reasons), Stanebury might be the safest place for them.
If they do so, leave a computer turned on and ask Trish to set up a webcam pointing outside with a web link, so if anyone attempts anything while they're away, the footage is captured securely off-site.
Alternatively, ask Henry to provide a reliable private investigator / security firm - around the Wyre Forest area, there are a few places patrolled by an organisation called E.M.P. (Ex Military Personnel) - exactly the kind of people who'd know how to deal with Alex Bird and his last employers.

A Scots Castle in Winter?
Jeez, Woody, have you any idea how cold it can be in a large Scottish castle during the winter months, particularly if it is—as it is at the moment—snowbound? No central heating, solid stone walls, and poor Simon, Tom and Danny would be knickerless under their kilts: I am sure they would not be willing to follow the example of King George IV—he ruled Great Britain from 1820 to 1830—of whom it is said, that when visiting Scotland in 1822, wore pink tights under his kilt to stop him catching a chill. Not as hardy as the native Scots, those Sassanachs.

We know Henry owns a hotel in Southsea. Now it isn't entirely beyond the bounds of possibility he also owns other hotels elsewhere in the UK, which would be preferable to the one we know about.
That one has a habit of being Bad News Centralâ„¢ (Mima drowned and was revived there, Cathy's been arrested there, she heard about Mitzi's death there, Simon was kidnapped by the Mafia en-route there, Cathy was involved in a car accident while driving back home from there... and probably more incidents I can't recall at present!), so should really be avoided at all costs!

The Georges didn't think of themselves as English. They were good Germans - prince-electors of Hanover - and thought of themselves as German. (Although George III claimed he "gloried in the name of Britain", he changed the law to allow him to ban his brother from marrying a woman who would make him ineligible for the Hanovarian succession, so it is clear Hanover was close to their hearts. For the Georges, Britain was merely close to their wallet.)

I guess you can't be paranoid if somebody is actually out to get you. Hopefully the latest plot against them bombs also. It is time to find a better place to hold up I think. I am surprised the opposition has not just went ahead and sent an all out assault force and just killed them outright.
