Chapter 46: A New Law

Yuqi woke with a jolt, her chest tight, her fire stirring violently inside her. It felt as if her flames were trying to claw their way out, desperate and wild. She sat up in bed, gasping, sweat slicking her brow, and instantly knew something was wrong. The air itself seemed heavier, thick with tension and humming faintly with power, as if the entire house was holding its breath.

Chapter 3: The Chrysalis

Jessie’s And Kate’s Place:
Kate looks at Tessa, David/Daisy, Nagisa, Lucas, and Jessie, as they all sat around the dining room table. Kate had asked all the band members to come by for lunch. She had the lunch catered for them, instead of cooking anything.

She noticed that David was looking more and more like Catherine Bach. She saw that David was wearing Daisy Dukes with a nice top. His face was even made up with proper makeup, as a woman would wear.

Chapter 22 – Into the Fortress

The fortress gates shuddered violently as Stacy initiated her final bypass sequence. Bright sparks erupted from the seams, illuminating the darkness as the massive locks groaned and disengaged with a thunderous metallic rumble that echoed through the air. It felt as though the entire mountain was vibrating in response to the impending chaos. Just then, a powerful explosion rolled across the ridge, shaking the ground beneath her feet and filling the atmosphere with an ominous tension.

David And Tony’s Place:
David was surprised when she arrived home. She and Tony had stopped and had dinner at Domnic’s. David got roasted chicken, while his boyfriend got steak. David was still dressed as Catherine Bach. Alice Green had asked if they could wear the clothes she had them model during the last shoot.

Jessie stood outside the simple store where Alice Green and several of her friends worked. It was simple, but it had some nice designs displayed in the windows showing their merchandise. She turns towards the sound of a motorcycle heading her way.

As it got closer to her, she noticed two people riding it. The first person she recognized right away. It was Tony, and the figure behind him was David dressed as Catherine Bach. She was wearing a helmet as they used in the old Dukes of Hazzard television show.

The song she was belting out was written by another member of the band. Her long, neon-purple straight hair swirled around her head each time she twirled.

Steph strode into Greenbrook with determination, her grip tightening around the frayed remnants of her rope belt. She made a valiant effort to project an air of belonging, though it was a challenge when her long tail, elegantly adorned, was coiled around her waist like an ill-fitting seatbelt. The fabric of her robe clung precariously to her form, held together more by sheer hope than any practical fastening, fluttering at the slightest movement as she navigated the familiar streets.
