Spring was late that year in the burgeoning town in which I had arrived, somewhat precipitately, almost twelve months before. Through March and April, cold and snowy weather prevailed in the eastern two-thirds of the country, though warmer temperatures than usual were reported in most of the remaining states.

Hey guys I had help with AI when asking about what it would be like for Clark and friends to have received letters to join Hogwarts but as 3rd year students since the Hogwarts Legacy game states its possible to join as a 5th year. Clark and his friends Lana, Lois and Kara are all about 14 or so and going to Hogwarts instead of Smallville where they would have been Freshmen otherwise.

Worse of all, Ozzie had to admit that there was something at work here
that he didn't understand. He didn't understand it at all.

He paused. He closed his eyes and placed his hand on his forehead.
It was time to gather his thoughts. What was his current status? What were his next steps?

His current status? He was wearing a pair of women's underwear, and it fit like a dream (unfortunately!)
What had he done wrong here?

"Are these supposed to be irregular?" he murmured to himself.
"They look perfect to me!"

"Magic?" Laura repeated. "If you mean like stage magic, then no.
And it's not a joke. I mean, at the prices they charge,
it's not a joke that could go very far."

"What are– what you doing up?" he asked her, trying to sound casual, but failing.
He sounded nervous, gave off guilty vibes.

"I had to pee," she said. "What else would I be doing up?"
She gave him a suspicious look. "What are you doing up?"

"Nothing, nothing," he answered, a little too quickly.
"Just couldn't sleep. That's all. Heheh."

"So... that jacket...," Ozzie puzzled, pausing in his steps at end of the driveway, "it's Laura's, right?"

"Yes."

"So how in the hell does it fit you?"
